First off, Tobias Harris being one of the highest paid players in the league makes him an overpaid player. He is and should be the first asset we should trade, if we can get a good player in return.
Level 0 in terms of untouchable player. I want Paul Reed to start at PF over him. We even can have Melton to replace him at the starting unit. Maybe even Danuel House or Thybulle.
But.. did we get a good return for the assets we gave up and considering how it’s a bid war in FA and how the roster structure should be with Ben, in the end, did we get a good return for Tobias?
I ask this while Watching Landry Shamet play down the stretch against the Adelaide 36ers makes me wonder..
Who is the best player we gave up in the trade for Tobias Harris? Shamet? Any guy drafted in those picks we gave up that has turned promising?
Could we have just signed Tobias instead of trading for him?

The only L i see is if we, ridiculously, gave up Jimmy for Tobias. Which I believe its because of Ben.

"It was kind of surprising to see," Embiid said in regards to The Athletic report, which suggested Simmons cannot play alongside Embiid anymore. "We'll say that even going back to, I mean, the reason we signed Al (Horford) and got rid of Jimmy (Butler), which I still think was a mistake, just to make sure he needed the ball in his hands, and that's the decision they made. Like I said, it is surprising."
..if Sixers wants Ben to have the ball in his hands, then I dont see them to go after the oft injured Brogdon and DLo if ever they have cap room.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
