Nope. I love Brook, but he's on the wrong team. Suns in 4.

I wish the Nets had a coach like Monty Williams. A guy who paid his dues and studied his craft. Instead we have Steve Nash. A product of nepotism and white privilege.
Sean Marks should be ashamed of himself. Do better. Hire someone who has put in the work.

As a team the Suns are built very well. Championship worthy in my books. Only a full strength Nets team should and would be favs over the Suns, aside from possibly a full strength Clippers.
Good coaching in Monty Williams. I know you can trust him to make the right decisions generally with personnel and tactics.
CP and Booker are the other duo in the league with 2 mid range assassins on the same team besides KD and Kyrie for the Nets.
Ayton is such an underrated 2 way modern big with a competent point guard feeding him the rock in the right spots. Great finisher, soft touch. Solid rebounder and can defend in space. A pretty high IQ player.
They have their own big 3.
Add solid 3 and D guys like Bridges, Johnson. Payne is a solid 1. Crowder can play the modern 4 role defending guys like Giannis.

Yep. Paul, Booker, Ayton are a legit big 3.
But what killed me is that every time down the floor, Paul and Booker got put on an island versus Lopez. That is simple play calling, force the mismatch.
We weren't even doing that before Kyrie got hurt.

This is just recency knee-jerk Bias. they benefitted from playing injured teams...
-Lakers with no AD
-Nuggets with no Jamal Murray
-Clippers with no Kawhi
-avoided facing the #1 seed Jazz
Injuries are part of the game but you are talking about arguably the 2 best 2-way players in the west (Kawhi/AD) and a 1st team all-nba player and elite playoff performer in Murray. Suns are good, but they would not be favored against ANY of those 3 teams if healthy.
A healthy Nets team beats the suns in 5 or less.

I disagree for the most part.
Injured AD yes, but CP himself was playing on one shoulder that series. Suns are and were better than the Lakers this season.
Jamal Murray doesnt move the needle enough to win for Denver.
The Clips I’ll buy the injuries argument sans Kawhi and Ibaka.
