RJ = Jaylen Brown in a few years.
Same types of players, I see very similar trajectories.
Jaylen Brown is a way better finisher and athlete
He is, everything else is pretty similar to me though. If anything RJ is actually better than Jaylen was at age 20.
Jaylen Brown shot 62.6% at the rim on 369 attempts his sophomore year
RJ shot 60.7% on 364 attempts this year
Brown dunked a lot more because he's a better athlete (62/73, 85% for Brown on dunks, 40/43, 93% for RJ), but their layups were almost identical, with Brown finishing at 49.9% (184/369), and RJ finishing at 49.8% (207/416). Yes, I know it seems like shooting "at the rim" should just be dunks + layups, but apparently not (coming from bballref.com)
So to say Brown is a better athlete is true, and he is right now a way better finisher than RJ, but he wasn't better in his 2nd season (which he was still a year older than RJ is now). Also took Brown til year 4 to average over 2 apg, when RJ averaged 3 this year.
