Frankie would be either way, as he would be mainly for backup pg.

His ability to just blow by guys, lock up on d, making great passes after breaking the paint..man we could do worse for a minimum guard..just saying. Remember Shaun Livingston used to be injury prone also
I think most would welcome him back for the minimum. Perimeter defense is by far our biggest weakness.bkohler wrote::nod:CAE15 wrote:Anyone else watch Exum today and first cringe every time he hit the floor but also felt that fluttery feeling of why you fell in love with him in the first place? I’m sure I’m in the minority but I’d love Dante on a minimum deal.
The Mavericks are also considered to be a possible landing spot for Jazz guard Mike Conley, although there's a strong belief around the league that Utah will be successful in its attempts to shed salary and offer Conley a substantial deal.
The Jazz continue to hold discussions on Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic, while Royce O'Neale, due to his lower cap figure and strong two-way success this season, is not expected to be included in any outgoing Utah package. The Jazz remain engaged in talks on trading the No. 30 pick to send Derrick Favors' salary elsewhere, sources said.

So frustrating that we have to keep wasting assets on contract dumps and PG’s. I think we could get 14 for Ingles.

That's how it goes when you continue to make mistake after mistake. I love Favors, but even I cringed at the 3 year PLAYER option contract.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.
The entire thing is just stupid. The focus should be on a short term reset where we get younger and more athletic while still being competive but looking more towards the 22-23 season.Inigo Montoya wrote:What's the point of re-signing Conley if you gut the team of key players just to retain him? Well, the team wasn't really a 1st-2nd round team with him, because he didn't play in the 2nd round. No way to know, but the team must feel he is a difference maker. He is an 2020-21 All Star, after all. I just don't see how the Jazz can not re-sign him (or at leat try), based on the salary situation and them being in win-now mode. With that said, his age is my concern, even more than his hammy. It seems like, especially with PG's, they just fall off the cliff all of a sudden one year.

So do you expect the Jazz to get better by keeping Conley and trading away a mix of Bojan, Ingles and Royce?

No we shouldn't. He's not nearly athletic enough. Australia is getting killed on the glass without Baynes. Yes he can shoot a bit outside but he's not bringing any rim protection. The rest of the guys we bring in need to be athletic and or really good defenders.Wolverine wrote:We should look at Jock Landale for the minimum
