If they were rebuilding I would have loved their draft but Kuminga and Moody are super young and Kuminga is a project, so I don't know how they help in their title hopes.

And-1

Moody helps as a solid 10th man for their 2021/22 roster (deep bench depth). But Kuminga is pointless for the Warriors. He needs to be traded. Indeed Golden St. really, really needs PG depth. Orlando is loaded in back-up PGs. So .....

Anthony and the 2022 Orlando first unprotected for Kuminga's rights. Add Carter-Williams if need be.

I like the line of thinking but NO how am I attaching an unprotected pick to Anthony. Top 5, at least, protected. Or give them the CHI pick. Anthony outperformed his draft spot and Kuminga dropped quite a bit. I agree we need to add, but our unprotected 22 frp is a huge chip.

It would be nice to get another top 10 pick in 2 years.

No defense and no free throws. I don't see how they win. Chicago is going to try their damnedest to win games though. Karnisovas will look like an idiot if they don't, so expect them to chase anyone and everyone that hits the market.

I want a Orlando Magic Jalen Suggs t-shirt but it's not available in a store yet. isn't it easy to make a t-shirt? They should have started making his shirts the moment he was drafted and started shipping this past Friday, it's not hard.

Well... If they do get Ball... I mean you watched the Olympics? Funny or not LAvine looks to be the best 3pt shooter in team USA. Add that with Lonzo's play-making and Patwill's improvement... they will be scary. Just need to find a proper SF.

Also, decide what to do with Lauri. Unless Lauri is accurate from 3 and Pat can be an effective SF, there is no place for LAuri

They have to renounce Lauri and Thad Young to be able to make the offer to Ball.

They do? So they can only throw that 80/4yr contract we have been hearing about AFTER renouncing?

Yes, I think they may have to stretch Aminu also.

Kawhi to decline player's option, Lowry to do sign and trade with Heat.

Raptors passing on Suggs already makes no sense whatsoever

And in the meantime when you go to their board, they’re drooling over Barnes and label him as the next point god.

Don't really care tbh, there is nothing about Barnes game that would make me think he is better prospect than Josh Jackson was.
Jackson averaged 3,0 apg at college, actually wasn't THAT bad of a shooter and was plus defender. Once NBA exposed fact he is negative value as shooter, every single other aspect of his game crumbled.

"Barnes is hard worker" is same s*** i was forced to listen for 7 years about Gordon. Just because you work hard doesn't change fact that others simply have more talent and therfore will always be better than you. I can work harder than most 100 meters sprinters, i will never be that fast , because i'm naturally slow. And not a single practice, coach, workout split will change that.

Barnes does not have shooting touch. period. He is dreadful shooter from every area. Combination of long limbs, poor shooting touch, funky shot tehnique is guaranteed recipy for never being good shooter in nba. For one Kawhi or Durant, there are like 1000 long limb nba players who can't shoot at all. Shot mechanic of shooter with 6'5 wingspan player and one with +7 foot wingspan is night and day. Wingspan almost always hinders ability to have sustainable , repetative shooting motions. Too many moving parts. Too much ball palming, too much ball palming on off hand. That's why you see guys like Dunn, Reggie Jackson, Rondo,Porzingis or Bamba shooting solid one year, than being terrible in other, or shooting ok for 3 point line, but can't make free throws.

If you look at Lebron and Jordan, you can argue best players in nba history, both have very long wingspan, both never actually got good at either shooting FTs or shooting 3s. They improved every single other aspect of their game, but shooting never simply went to another level and their body composition is probably key reason why.

Of course I am also very unsupportive of Barnes. Even if he becomes "great", this style of player was proven to not work in Magic blue. I love the idea of Wagner, simply because it is "trying something new". I am convinced Wagner will be "Pat Garrity with some defense". I am really OK with that sort of upside.

As to wing-span, I agree that there is a lot of literature on ball arc and the concept that many bigs never learnt to arc the ball given they are closer to the rim to start with. That's why a guy like Reggie Miller was so awesome. He was lanky and had freak length, but he learnt to put arc on the ball. This is why I am also hopeful that Isaac can be above the mendoza line with his long ball. Tall players that learnt to play ball when previously short have better overall arc-projectory on release. There is a lot I like about Isaac's mechanics and angle of release.

Allow me to present a comprehensive list of players who, according to sources, aren’t interesting to and interested by the Los Angeles Lakers:

It's a sign and trade according to Woj. Maybe Lauri is going back.
