Raptors passing on Suggs already makes no sense whatsoever

And in the meantime when you go to their board, they’re drooling over Barnes and label him as the next point god.
Don't really care tbh, there is nothing about Barnes game that would make me think he is better prospect than Josh Jackson was.
Jackson averaged 3,0 apg at college, actually wasn't THAT bad of a shooter and was plus defender. Once NBA exposed fact he is negative value as shooter, every single other aspect of his game crumbled.
"Barnes is hard worker" is same s*** i was forced to listen for 7 years about Gordon. Just because you work hard doesn't change fact that others simply have more talent and therfore will always be better than you. I can work harder than most 100 meters sprinters, i will never be that fast , because i'm naturally slow. And not a single practice, coach, workout split will change that.
Barnes does not have shooting touch. period. He is dreadful shooter from every area. Combination of long limbs, poor shooting touch, funky shot tehnique is guaranteed recipy for never being good shooter in nba. For one Kawhi or Durant, there are like 1000 long limb nba players who can't shoot at all. Shot mechanic of shooter with 6'5 wingspan player and one with +7 foot wingspan is night and day. Wingspan almost always hinders ability to have sustainable , repetative shooting motions. Too many moving parts. Too much ball palming, too much ball palming on off hand. That's why you see guys like Dunn, Reggie Jackson, Rondo,Porzingis or Bamba shooting solid one year, than being terrible in other, or shooting ok for 3 point line, but can't make free throws.
If you look at Lebron and Jordan, you can argue best players in nba history, both have very long wingspan, both never actually got good at either shooting FTs or shooting 3s. They improved every single other aspect of their game, but shooting never simply went to another level and their body composition is probably key reason why.
