He wishes he could be Marcus Smart one day so might as well let him learn from the real thing

They have to. Rose is too respected around the league, unc wes, perin, aller... These guys are good at what they do.
These stupid ass rumors and guesses prolly have no validity to them. Its just to rile up knicks fans and its working lol

I hate to break it to you and this guy but odds are, that's the plan and it's not a bad one if you do some homework. If we are over the cap we'll need to send out equal value in any trade. Let's use Lillard for example:
If he starts the year with Portland and it goes badly, he's going to request a trade and he's not going to request a trade to a team that stinks. On paper, Fournier and Schroder makes this team better so you're doing what you need to do to remain an attractive destination. Now look at the trade itself... we are going to have to match salary which is about $40 mil. If you throw them Schroder (since they need a PG now) as the main piece salary-wise then you can build off that with complementary players and picks. It also makes it way easier to find a third team that might have an expiring deal they want to dump.
It's not my ideal scenario but it's certainly not LOL KNICKZ like so many want it to be.

I understand that Fournier has had his struggles in the post season with Orlando but he was actually one of the better players on Boston who showed up vs BK. 16 PPG on 44% 3PT shooting on 6.5 attempts. You can literally pencil in EF for 18-3-3 on 40% 3PT on impressive volume and unlike Bullock he can actually create for himself and in the P&R and is a willing slasher/cutter.
It’s Dennis Schroder that’s causing me to have a mental breakdown. Again this is the same player since 2016. I legitimately can’t think of one area he’s gotten better at. I am willing to admit he’s gotten better defensively but there is no reason to give him the keys when he’s turning 28.
If this front office even thinks they have a 1% chance at Dame or the likes of signing LaVine Beal or Sexton how can Leon and Co be okay with Dennis at over $20 mill per year. That won’t be an easy contract to simply trade away.
The guy would be a dynamite 6th man. Why pay him like he’s a star PG. We don’t wanna be saddled with that.

It’s a combination of things!!!!
Leon and co can’t even get guys like lonzo ball and Kyle Lowry to sign here after we were sold all the connections they had and blah blah blah!!!!!!
I mean we have the most cap space in the league a bunch load of draft picks and we can’t even get creative and get a deal done for young player like a Sexton!!!!!
All that and we’ll only end up getting Dennis Schroeder and Evan Fournier!!!!!
It’s embarrassing man it really is!!!!!
Not only you, but mainly because of you, I hope the Knicks strike out on every FA and trade

It's actually a pretty mediocre plan that really will limit us going forward especially how many years tying up mediocre players for large sums of money.
It's a plan Steve Mills can do which is facts. Because they did the same things 2 years ago.

It makes sense why the Knicks not interested in Lonzo. He’s not a thibs guard
Lowry? He is like 40 years old![]()
All those Sexton rumors died when they drafted Mobley
I hear you!!!!
But my thing is we can’t do any better than Dennis And Fournier???!!!!!
Like get creative!!!!
You supposedly have all these connections why not use them!!!!!
Steve Mills could have signed Dennis!!!!!!
