This thread absolutely **** on every move the Lakers make. It's hilarious. We were all losing our minds when they signed Rondo and Howard last year

Is this the team?
PG: Westbrook | Nunn | Ayayi
SG: Monk | THT | Ellington
SF: LeBron | Bazemore | Matthews
PF: Davis | Ariza | Melo
C: Gasol | Howard | Markieff

It looks like it. I think there will be all out war for that starting shooting guard spot.

It will also be interesting to see what choice will be made between Ariza/Gasol/Anthony in the starting lineup.

I suspect Gasol will start and play token JaVale McGee minutes.

There's going to be a war for all the wing spots behind LeBron and AD..

I'm wondering if THT becomes trade bait. With this lineup I wouldn't want to play him over Ellington or Monk or Bazemore for spacing. I mean, he wasn't played ahead of Matthews, Caruso, Kuzma, KCP in the playoffs for spacing issues.

Yeah Gasol with the definite token minutes

Ya many of us do, especially me

But many points were proven right

We won in spite of Rondo, many of his games were awful and he killed our spacing

We didn’t have enough shooting last season and it killed us

We knew Drummond was truly Awful and he was

We knew Trez would be useless come playoff time and he was

I’m way more right than wrong

I was right on all of those

I also said to give AC more time in 2019-2020 and to play Dwight more instead of McGee when we go big

Getting Nunn is huge IMO, he's a great fit for this roster and Vogels style. Getting Schroeder too would be a luxury, don't think that will happen though.

Getting another true PF would be ideal, not some SF who will play PF because small ball.

9 and 5 in the finals on horrible shooting and bad defense

Soo great

He was actually a negative in the playoffs when looking at RAPTOR

This season was much much worse, rated as the worst playoff player who played real min

No space for that bum

Still holding out hope that he can bring us back a defensive guard or big wing

I don't care about the stats for Rondo, since he was important, especially when LBJ was on the bench .... He had been very good against rockets and the nuggets ... If it would have been you, you wouldn't have play Rondo for one single minute (outside of the garbage time) in the playoffs and you would have lost the locker room!

Who would have been the second ball handler behind LBJ if Rondo would not have been there?

I would’ve been smart enough to have gone into the season with a better option at pg after the mess in yr 1

Or I would have made a deadline move since all the numbers showers how bad he was

We won because AD shot better than he ever has, Lebron was great, and we didn’t run into a stacked ass team like BKN

Rondo was also our 3rd most important players in his playoffs.....Without him, maybe they are down 1-2 vs Houston after 3 games and the series could have been different.

He had his moments, I’ll give him that

Especially vs Hou

Has a couple good finals games and some awful ones

But I feel like there were better options

Please just get 1 more solid wing guy who can close games

I am not sure there were better options that Rondo at the minimun in free agency in 2019.

Collison was sensible but retired

We also went all in with Kawhi so we couldnt go after guys like Brogdon, Dlo (meh), Rozier, Rose, etc
