I don't care either way. Anything is better than Payton, but people are shooting their loads like we're getting anything resembling Kemba Walkers prime.

He has chronic arthritis. Not a sore knee. He doesn't "keep getting hurt", he has no cartilage in his left knee.

Deluded sheep in here losing their minds and people from other boards are just laughing at our clowning over a guys swan song for a couple years at home. This is MSG ticket revenue material and nothing more. I feel bad for Kemba because he's a great teammate and a competitor but his knee just betrayed him, 4 surgeries on his left knee years of steroidal injections and now he's been trying stem cells to eek out another couple years.

If he could play he wouldn't be a Knick right now, he'd be on the 76ers or some competitive team. Nice story that he gets to play a few games at home, can't wait for the coming home redux.

Deluded sheep? Relax. Go outside. You’ve been internetting too long.

I'm relaxed. It's the other people who think we're getting All-NBA 3rd team Kemba who are emotional. I feel bad for them.

"WE bAcK!" "rEmEmBEr tWo DaYS aGO!"

It shows how deluded and scarred the fan base is. They can't even look at the guys injury history, it would force them to wake up from the dream.

Kind of odd to be calling people deluded sheep, feeling bad for them as clowns and flashing some X-rays that the guy will never walk again. What’s wrong with a little hope. A lot of athletes are moving towards stem cell treatment. Kobe was going to Germany for it in 2013. It’s becoming a preferred treatment that many of the top athletes are now doing it. Load management can be a factor also - he has played over 30mpg his entire career - cut that down to 22-24 and that will help as will it also help Rose. Healthy players in todays game are sitting for 5-10 games just for load management. He was knocked out of the playoffs last year because of an unrelated contusion injury to his leg and also missed time with a neck injury. You are looking for 2 years from him, it’s worth a gamble at that price and I certainly hope for his sake that you wouldn’t actually wish the guys demise just to prove an angry point. He’s a Bronx boy going home. Try a little optimism.

But I'm getting big "they're saying us and Golden State are the superteams" energy from stuff like that SportsCenter tweet.

they are only happy if the team goes 9-73 every season. They are devastated to see that we are winning games again.

Any Kemba slander on this forum, you're welcomed to visit at South Box by Eric Kelly(171 Lincoln Ave, Bronx, NY 10454 anytime from 11am to 3pm, my trainer is Maximo"Sabroso" we got gear for you) and see if your hands work as your bad takes.

Kemba is exactly who need.

Signing Rose was great. The combination of Rose and Walker gives us guys who can give Randle relief.

With McBride/Grimes/Quickley playing with energy off the bench.

It doesnt matter who has an off night.

We have legitimate scorers who are still edging their pride. Kemba can recover from his injuries and still give us 18 and 5. That's enough with an emerging RJ Barrett who will involve into the alpha of this team.

The best attribute of Kemba is his ballhandling and low turnover ratio. This addition gives us a floor general who doesn't play mindless or ball hog so it wont shake up our chemistry.

We were not getting bigger names than that and we got him off waivers.

This is by far my favorite transition weve done in a while.

I can tell Kemba was not feeling Boston and he was just there to get his bread. NYK is exactly where Kemba will breakout. I promise you this. If Kemba flops I wont be talking about basketball again. I'll save this and be a person of my word.

Knicks will get past teams. Buck Max Kellerman...teams in the East have flaws. Even MIL who barely made it alive out of BRk series. Anyone can lose in a series and I'm a believer in our team.

RJ Barrett will breakout and become our alpha and well have a scoring exhibition between Randle, Barrett, Walker, Rose, Quickley and Burks. I trust all six and I'm throwing hands for Kemba free. 172nd and Morrison ave all day.

We aren't done yet but we got a legit starter who would mesh well perfectly with Barrett. Barrett usage will increase and Kemba wont interfere. Along with Rose, Randle will feast. Everyone will.

Knicks won.

So after seeing what Randle did in the playoffs, our genius FO said you know who we should get? Another playoff bum with health issues.

Lol.

Now, all we need is to sign future (towel waiving) Hall Of Famer Theo Pinson to the mix and our roster will be complete!

OK ok so in this prisoner of the moment moment I'm choosing not violence --

Thibs at the helm of a team with 1) continuity & chemistry; 2) an All-NBA power forward; 3) veteran/hometown backcourt; 4) a couple exciting young role players (sorry, RJ but you're a role player now); and 5) emerging playoff rivalries...

Kind of reminds me of the post-Ewing JVG years where we just maximized the sh*t out of our existing talent and outworked teams to put out a fun, competitive, loveable team with no real shot at a 'chip. When you consider the hell we've been through since those days, I'm okay with that as our upside.

I hope Leon stays the course and doesn't godfather trade RJ, Mitch, IQ and all our FRPs when Dame or Steph or KAT whoever it is demands out in February.

Now everybody on the team a threat that can shoot off the dribble. RJ the only one who needs to get better at off the dribble.

He’s not the 4th lol.

Randle, Kemba, RJ and then Fournier. That’s how I see it. The horrendous playoff series aside RJ provided he is a legit NBA talent. Specifically in the 2nd half of games he turns it on. He’s become more consistent with the 3 ball and he attacks the rim. I see Fournier as the guy to spot up from 3 from all the chaos Randle, Kemba and RJ provide.

Fournier 55% from corner 3 :D

Definitely a surprise, but you can't be mad about this unless you're that upset about Vildoza/McBride not getting a shot. For what we'll be paying him, considering he's UConn royalty, you can't hate this signing after the offseason we had.
