Moore has had a productive career, albeit, not with us. Ojeleye is going up against guys like Demetrius Jackson, Jordan Mickey…so the bar has been set really low this past decade. Semi did what he was told of him because he didn’t have the capacity to do anything else. Couldn’t pass, put the ball on the floor…hell, he played 950 minutes last year without a solitary block.
We were considered one of the top teams in the east going into last season and we were giving a guy like Semi consistent minutes when most teams wouldn’t play him any minutes at all. A guy like Nesmith was infinitely more productive on the court and it would have been nice to let him take his lumps earlier on so he could have been trusted with a bigger role as the season progressed. Nesmith was a lottery talent. If you refuse to develop guys like that, something is wrong in the process.
I didn't confuse anything. I had a clear stance on Ojeleye for all four of his years here. He's gone now, so not worth fighting over it anymore.
