Josh Richardson
Kris Dunn
Bruno Fernando

We can use Fernando as a back-up C; Dunn is a nice defensive stopper; while Richardson can be easily flipped to a contender at the deadline. The move breaks up the $19m that would be Dragic into workable chunks.

Richardson's salary cannot be aggregated in a trade to bring in more salary, not for 2 months.

The urgency for this has passed. Dwight's a good story, but doesn't really move the needle with a Birch/Gillespie and rotations at the 5.

I agree that for this to be interesting to the Raps, a 1st has to be involved. I actually like the idea of watching Dragic play for the team, he's tough, super annoying to play against and has some skill.

2 reasons

1. If a superstar becomes available he has a perfect contract to facilitate the acquisition.
2. He is actually the best iso scorer on the team right now.

Everyone knew it would happen somehow but Masai played it perfectly with the waiting game to get exactly the trade he wanted from NY
Btw, that's how Denver ended up with the pick to select Jamal Murray..

We’ll likely get decent offers at the deadline from contenders so no point moving him just for the sake of moving him. We can give him the Iggy treatment like the Grizzlies until the deadline and still get pieces for him

Damn right!

Errthang got a price. Pay up or shut up.

Ain't a damn way Masai is going to let Mavs come through with a lowball offer.

If Goran wants to play for the Raps, I am sure he will be welcome.

If Goran does not want to play for the Raps, he will continue to collect his paycheque while working out at home.

Dragic would be good salary filler for when we trade for Giannis closer to the deadline.

Isn’t the time less because of the altered dates?

So essentially, It's going to be a 2-way trade for now with just Toronto and Miami.

We're prolly gonna try to trade Dragic separately the rest of this off-season in a separate package.

lol stein doing some pr work for his beloved mavs trying to make it look like toronto is being the obstinate one here.

that is some ridiculous framing. they're offering sht and we're not obliged to just give this guy away considering we did all this as a favor to lowry.

running a charity here apparently. they made the right calling going with the younger birch over powell who has had it tough coming back from injury.

Portland for McCollum? He's been in a lot of rumours for players in the same price range (Pascal, Simmons).

How much caproom does New Orleans have? Id love to see Dragic and Boucher routed to the Pelicans for Satoransky/Nickiel Alexander Walker.

its that or take on dead money for no season, at least with this we get the option of someone trading for him at the deadline if he performs.

The Mavs offer must be really bad in this situation. It's nice Masai wants to stick to his guns but the Lowry situation didn't really workout for us. Seems like we are getting a worse package now than we got offered at the deadline because we would have had an expiring contract off the books already.

A player is worth what people are offering you at the time. Did we get Kawhi for fair value? No because his value was extremely low at the time.

Masai might want to accept when it's time to bite the bullet. Let's see how it plays out before fully jumping to conclusions.

No. Fk Dallas. Fk Dragic. Sit tight until a deal acceptable to Masai comes.
