Josh Richardson
Kris Dunn
Bruno Fernando
We can use Fernando as a back-up C; Dunn is a nice defensive stopper; while Richardson can be easily flipped to a contender at the deadline. The move breaks up the $19m that would be Dragic into workable chunks.

Btw, that's how Denver ended up with the pick to select Jamal Murray..T_saurus wrote:I remember all the talk when Denver was going to trade Carmelo to the Knicks.
Everyone knew it would happen somehow but Masai played it perfectly with the waiting game to get exactly the trade he wanted from NY

We’ll likely get decent offers at the deadline from contenders so no point moving him just for the sake of moving him. We can give him the Iggy treatment like the Grizzlies until the deadline and still get pieces for him

Richardson's salary cannot be aggregated in a trade to bring in more salary, not for 2 months.

Damn right!
Errthang got a price. Pay up or shut up.
Ain't a damn way Masai is going to let Mavs come through with a lowball offer.
If Goran wants to play for the Raps, I am sure he will be welcome.
If Goran does not want to play for the Raps, he will continue to collect his paycheque while working out at home.

Is there any other team that might want Porzingis?

its that or take on dead money for no season, at least with this we get the option of someone trading for him at the deadline if he performs.
The Mavs offer must be really bad in this situation. It's nice Masai wants to stick to his guns but the Lowry situation didn't really workout for us. Seems like we are getting a worse package now than we got offered at the deadline because we would have had an expiring contract off the books already.
A player is worth what people are offering you at the time. Did we get Kawhi for fair value? No because his value was extremely low at the time.
Masai might want to accept when it's time to bite the bullet. Let's see how it plays out before fully jumping to conclusions.
