The Mavs offer must be really bad in this situation. It's nice Masai wants to stick to his guns but the Lowry situation didn't really workout for us. Seems like we are getting a worse package now than we got offered at the deadline because we would have had an expiring contract off the books already.

A player is worth what people are offering you at the time. Did we get Kawhi for fair value? No because his value was extremely low at the time.

Masai might want to accept when it's time to bite the bullet. Let's see how it plays out before fully jumping to conclusions.

Only reason you hope he bites the bullet is so you can rag on him for doing just that. You're transparent AF.

No. Fk Dallas. Fk Dragic. Sit tight until a deal acceptable to Masai comes.

Loll agreed that if they're offering crap then we might as well sit tight at this stage. Before we had an incentive to use some free agent money on someone but that's all but gone now.

Dallas might start feeling the pressure from Luka to add Dragic since they didn't really do anything this offseason. This was supposed to be their big free agency year to make a splash.

Josh Richardson
Kris Dunn
Bruno Fernando

We can use Fernando as a back-up C; Dunn is a nice defensive stopper; while Richardson can be easily flipped to a contender at the deadline. The move breaks up the $19m that would be Dragic into workable chunks.

Richardson's salary cannot be aggregated in a trade to bring in more salary, not for 2 months.

Isn’t the time less because of the altered dates?

There has been nothing reported as such. If so, as far as I can tell, none of the CBA gurus like Eric Pincus or Larry Coon are aware of it, which would be surprising.

Dallas offered Powell and Burks or some other un desirable package.

Powell would be a solid big but not worth the salary. So unless they want to start attaching assets, move on.

I don't think Raps want Powell....or Porzingis.

Why the hell would I want to rag on Masai? I cheer for the Raptors and want the team to be as good as possible.

I cared more about biting the bullet when we had a chance to spend money on free agents. We don't really have that anymore so I care less about "biting the bullet" now. Might as well wait till the deadline if we're getting crap offers.

We’ll likely get decent offers at the deadline from contenders so no point moving him just for the sake of moving him. We can give him the Iggy treatment like the Grizzlies until the deadline and still get pieces for him

Damn right!

Errthang got a price. Pay up or shut up.

Ain't a damn way Masai is going to let Mavs come through with a lowball offer.

If Goran wants to play for the Raps, I am sure he will be welcome.

If Goran does not want to play for the Raps, he will continue to collect his paycheque while working out at home.

Richardson and Dunn are vets that have shown not to be good NBA players at this point in their careers. I have no idea why the Raptors would have the slightest interest in either.

Anything specific that makes you think that? Or just a hunch? As much as they need PG help, I don't see Morey accepting a package built around Dragic+Boucher unless if we're including more future draft compensation than we should.

DAL so transparent lol f off with your sh*tty leak like we're the ones holding out.

No we're not trading him for your unwanted garbage ie Powell & Burke...

Goran is EASILY worth more than both of them combined so we're not giving him up to get back LESS talent AND take on MORE/longer salary...

If not, enjoy DAL lockerroom continuing going to sh*t when you couldve paid the small price of a rookie like Green who barely gets minutes especially after re-upping THJ and you're essentially limiting him to be a backup OR you could actually make Luka happy and get him a guy who he loves playing together with, is likely a personal friend and will help Luka maintain his energy to get outta the 1st round finally....Truly is THEIR lose.

There absolutely will be someone who by the deadline who will give us more than a bag of garbage and we love our 3 pgs lol so the show goes on, f*ck em, only hope we were able to get KZ too though to lessen the bad management of cap/timing in FA.

unless they're giving us green, then it just makes more sense to keep him. there's a role for him right now.

so do you risk pissing off your disgruntled superstar for keeping josh green????

therein lies what they're dealing with internally and why this stupid story exists lol

No the package would future Pascal and Dragic would be the second piece. I think they may have to give us some dead weight contracts.

If that deal falls through, I'm sure Masai knows the Dallas package will always be there. 6ers are on the clock.

It might be Masai's tactic to get heat to include more for the Lowry deal. I think I read that if they can't move dragic heat would have to include more in the deal to compensate to get Lowry.

This is all posturing;
It all became posturing the minute that Dwight Powell went from a player who Mark Cuban would have personally to the airport to exchange for an expiring last season to a critical locker room piece the Mavs just can't part with.

Can we get real. Raps do not want Ben Simmons, nor are they looking to deal Siakim.

They want him at the right price (which is now).
If he doesnt work out, they can flip in for better assets than a Pascal could get you.
