We really didn't see any of that now or in their pasts. Harden's been a defensive sieve with questions whether a team with him as the focal point ballhandler can win. Kyrie's been **** crazy at times, injured at others. Durant's amazing, but his ring comes from Steph, Klay and Draymond.
That Nets team was not 2017 Golden State. They just weren't.
Their big 3 played like 8 games together. Sure, they probably would have won, but let's not act like it's a huge shock that they got injured after spending most of the year in that state.
I actually don't see why that's probable. We're still bigger and more physical than them and likely would've realized that eventually.
Their efficiency was insane with Durant doing all the offense, and I'm not sure there was any further up to go. Irving would've worn down with Jrue beating on him, leading to more missed shots (that Durant wasn't taking), and defensively, they'd be worse with Harden and Irving on the floor.
Don’t forget game five where Jeff Green went 6-7 from three. That’s not repeatable either.
