We really didn't see any of that now or in their pasts. Harden's been a defensive sieve with questions whether a team with him as the focal point ballhandler can win. Kyrie's been **** crazy at times, injured at others. Durant's amazing, but his ring comes from Steph, Klay and Draymond.

That Nets team was not 2017 Golden State. They just weren't.

Their big 3 played like 8 games together. Sure, they probably would have won, but let's not act like it's a huge shock that they got injured after spending most of the year in that state.

I actually don't see why that's probable. We're still bigger and more physical than them and likely would've realized that eventually.

Their efficiency was insane with Durant doing all the offense, and I'm not sure there was any further up to go. Irving would've worn down with Jrue beating on him, leading to more missed shots (that Durant wasn't taking), and defensively, they'd be worse with Harden and Irving on the floor.

Don’t forget game five where Jeff Green went 6-7 from three. That’s not repeatable either.

This is what happens when nba players get fat to get traded.

I'm frankly shocked that Durant got through as much as he did with his Achilles.

If I was a Nets fan I would not be confident about him getting through the next season unscathed after the short break + Olympics. That's a pathological, repaired tendon. Not to mention the incidence of contralateral injury.

I'd have everything crossed.

I still can't believe he got through all of last season relatively unscathed.

I don't usually listen to post game bud press conferences because he doesn't say much, so this is the most I've heard him speak. I really enjoyed hearing him speak at length.

Middleton's fallaway dagger will always be the shot for me where I knew we won but Giannis hitting the jump hook before time expires a minute or so earlier was where I thought there's no way we lose now. Watching all the videos and replays of Giannis' game and I still can't believe he put it all together the way he did in the biggest game of his life.

I rewatched his highlights from game 6 a few days ago and was blown away.

Truly one of the best performances ever.

Especially coupling his 50 points with his swarming defensive presence all over the court. This was something only guys like Jordan, Hakeem, Kareem, LeBron, Moses and Shaq could do.

It was like there was a giant “I’m not letting this trophy leave the building” thought bubble emanating from him all game.

Yeah, it absolutely was the defensive highlights that were the most impressive.

Nothing could have stopped him that night.

Placed two orders from the Bucks Pro Shop website, which I guess is different than the NBA store, one the night of and one the next day. Site said things would begin to ship 8/3, but both orders still show unfulfilled.

I have ordered recently from nba store. Will come soon.

Have earlier ordered from Bucks Pro Shop. About half of those have come; the other half are delayed—- I spoke to their rep today.

Also had ordered books. One came a couple of days ago. The other was originally scheduled to come in September.

Yes he would not let the Bucks lose. I will never ever forget how magnificently Giannis played that day. That Fiserv memory will be forever.

That feeling. That moment. When Giannis and PJ embraced. Looking at the clock thinking "there is still time" but then looking at Giannis and thinking "he knows." And since he knew, I knew. Everyone in the arena (humble brag) simultaneously understanding the game was over. And that IT was actually going to happen. Like an outer body experience. Watching myself go apesh*t up and down the aisle, embracing complete strangers. So emotional. So unbelievable. The ceremony was like a dream, fans moving past shock and disbelief to pure elation, grinning from ear to ear while the trophies were passed around. Then the party in the streets to follow. Then the drive home, the entire city blaring music and horns at every traffic light. Champs.

I listened to the Zach Lowe pod with Bud as linked above. It was a good listen, and definitely worth the investment of time.

I did need to make a comment though on Zach Lowe. He is much better as a guest on someone else's pod, than hosting his own IMO.

He has a habit of always talking over his guest, and never letting them breathe. This is not a political comment, but stylistically he's like Sean Hannity. It is more important that Zach make his point, than drawing out his guest and their thoughts.

Every question he asks has to start with a two minute Zach statement about what his (Zach's) opinion is. It felt like he could have gotten more out of Bud (and his other guests)

Ordered my stuff on the 22nd and haven't heard a damn thing about it since. Order still listed with an "Unfulfilled" status on the website. Pretty long wait in this day and age, particularly since half my order wasn't championship branded. ****'s going to be on the clearance racks before I get it.

Clearance is the way to go!

On a serious note, I know some of you want the official stuff. But the street vendor bootleg merchandise is not too bad. If in Milwaukee, there are still guys on corners at Capitol Drive with tents up.

I did come up to get a bootleg shirt where Thanasis is misspelled (Thanassis), couldn't resist. Goes in the collection with my Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood Packer shirt.

I see a lot of bootleg stuff on corners, usually by a gas station. Lots of bootleg stuff outside State Fair too. I haven't checked any of it out but from a distance it looked like, well, bootleg stuff. I'm pretty happy with the stuff I got. And although DVD's are a thing of the past I really hope they put one out.

The Bucks always have a large area at the State Fair with stuff, and ticket reps. This year, nothing. Maybe staff is getting a break after a long playoff run.

It will be sad when this thread gets unstickied and floats down the page(s). But we'll keep it on top until game 1 of next season. And I'll revisit it often when we lose 2 in a row and the board is imploding.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
