Bulls among the team interested. Millsap would fit in nicely in that PJ Brown / Antonio Davis vet big role.
Also what about Juancho Hernangomez? He's a solid backup 4.
Hernangomez seems to by a rhythm player who struggles when he isn't starting. He didn't do well last year, but was a much better player when starting. Extended minutes helped, too, but that can also be a "is he hot or not" issue.
The biggest issue with Juan would be that he's a net negative defensive player so, if even when he's playing well on offense (which isn't at all consistent, and last year was more no than yes) - you kind of suffer on the defensive end about as much as you get. Though he did have a positive plus minus (basic) with the Wolves last season per 82 games (they were worse without him than the basic bad level they were with him).
Might be worth a look. Certainly more a combo forward than Simonovic, who reminds me physically of Vucevic when he came into the league (although not as bounce - yes, Vuc was bouncy) - and who I think will end up at Center, not the 4.
Edit: positive plus minus per br, too... but looking at 82games 5man lineup success, seems he did best with McDaniels or Vanderbilt at the "3" next to him (meaning he was manning the 3 and they just have them listed wrong) - he did his best when paired with a defender to take the better assignment. Bulls couldn't offer that too him much. Maybe when Pat is still in, slid to the 3 when DD is out... but I think that's going to be pretty limited.
