Ant is also represented by Klutch. Him and Maxey worked out together pre-draft.

So Maxey is untouchable for them but not McDaniels for the wolves?

How does a Simmons-Towns front court rank among the best in the NBA?

Ant-Lebron
Towns-Simmons
Embiid-Harris
Capela-Collins
Jokic-Porer Jr.
Valanciunas-Zion

I think it is less not being happy and more the agents giving the middle finger to PHI for their behavior. Now they devalue two assets...

Anyways, it is getting ugly...and not going to get better at this point.

Let it fester till Morey faces reality.

And it didn't matter for Milwaukee, because they assembled star power at the top.

It didn’t matter because they didn’t play LAL or BRK at full strength, because .. HEY LOOK! THE TOPIC! .. injuries to “assembled star power at the top” based team is no sure pathway to success.

This is getting frustrating, because it seems like that was yet another meaningless contradictions. Especially when some of the people opposed to the trade demand specifics, but completely overlook the specifics when they don’t fit their case.

Do you believe MIN will draw free agents if they improve, when Milwaukee could not? And MIL’s three at the top are better than ours.

Apparently Jon Krawczynski was on Dan Barreiro's show earlier and his sources have indicated to him that Simmons is open to playing in Minnesota.

I doubt if Maxey is untouchable, but he shouldn't be a throw in along with giving us Simmons.

Maxie threats are Klutch really flexing their muscles. PHI has treated Simmons badly, and Klutch is threatening to discourage other clients from going there as well.

I don’t like it, but if Morey doesn’t make a trade soon, he will seriously hurt the Sixers future.

I'm starting to actually believe Simmons will be a Timberwolf this season.

Kings or Wolves would be my guess.

I've seen like 5 different fan bases say that today on general board. Kinda hard to assess how good our package is and what the other franchises are willing to give up. Can we beat a Toronto package if they are willing to send Siakam/VanVleet/picks for Simmons/Maxey/filler? Can we beat an offer centered around CJ McCollum? Or a Chicago offer sending Lavine the other way? Or Beal for Simmons and Maxey? Who knows what others are gonna offer.

I don't believe others are going to offer anything as good as what you proposed here.

Just keep in mind the timing. The Prince and Beverley trades are official, so they can’t be used for a couple months (maybe a bit less with the constricted offseason) to aggregate salary for us to match Simmons’ $31.6 mil salary.

If PHI feels pressured to trade Ben immediately to avoid the wrath of Klutch, we’d need to include DLo, or everybody needs to wait. We need to send out at least $25.2 mil.

Edit: good news. Prince can be aggregated September 12th. Beverley October 1st. Prince + Beasley = $29.4 mil in outgoing salary.

This is where I’m at. If the Kings put Haliburton or Fox on the table, I think he goes to Sac.

Spurs are there too. But Murray, who I thought would be a major part of their offer, is a Klutch client. Not sure that’ll fly.

What I think Rosas wants to deal: Beasley, Prince, and all the very lightly protected picks/swaps he can offer.

What I think his final offer will be: DLo, Beasley, two protected firsts. I don’t think he offers DLo and McDaniels. Or at least I hope he doesn’t.

I mean, we're supposed to send DLo the other way, idk why everybody is so enamored with keeping him. He's 3rd on my list of who to keep between him, McDaniels and Beasley. If they'd take DLo and 3 firsts, I'm down to do that.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
