It's not evidence of anything about the other player you are making the claim about... it's absolutely useless.
Who’s using HS scouting reports?
You're missing the point, whether it's scouting from HS or college or even SL or whatever...players change alot over time even from the start of their career but they all look really good compared to their peers early on otherwise they wouldn't have gotten to the NBA.
So it's not really useful to use an example of some other player's scouting to make a point about another player, everyone is different and every circumstance is unique. Plus one never really knows who has the inner component that separates the good from the great because they all have some of it to a degree.
There are just some guys who can turn it up a notch when they are faced with the toughest challenge. Like with Randle, he's shown a next level amount of determination that wasn't revealed until he was put to the test that some may have shrunk from and we wouldn't know who is which until it plays out.
I don't know what you're talking about when you say using someone else's scouting report to describe another player. I haven't seen anyone do that.
I feel like you're targeting my posts about Grimes and his high school stuff. I watched his games in high school. He was a PG back then, which explains why he was throwing dimes in SL that people didn't expect to see. That's all I was saying.
Remember IQ in college didn't do much playmaking either.. but in HS he was a PG. He's been showing his playmaking skills lately that people didn't know existed.
