Guess who else had the ball a bunch and struggled to shoot FT's -- Giannis. And guess who else a huge chunk of this website claimed couldn't win in the playoffs because he couldn't shoot? Now, no I am not in any way claiming Ben Simmons is the caliber of player Giannis is, he clearly isn't. But he is illustrative that these flaws aren't always as fatal as you guys want to claim.
Astonishing how once a narrative takes hold, some of you just can't let it go. Meanwhile other players have even more fatal weaknesses than Simmons and you view them as incredibly valuable. It's just absolutely bizarre.
To be fair on narrative other than the free throw % , giannis issue with shooting is not exactly the same as per Simmons , but Simmons is getting valued pretty cheaply around here.
So long as he’s not the primary ballhandler, he should be more improved hopefully.
Edit ; not going to happen but he would really good on the nets as part of the harden/Durant big three.
