Name the most random 80s/90s/00s player you can think of
How's this for a Mid-September basketball thread topic?
Don't go to basketball reference or cheat. Just dig deep into your noggin and think of who you can come up with.
I'll start with a two pack. Junior Harrington and Vincent Yarbrough. Amazingly the starting back court for the Carmelo/LeBron tanking Nuggets, aka the worst roster in NBA history.

Mike Iuzzolino was one of the Mavs players on NBA jam. You can't beat that. He played 2 NBA seasons and those MAvs teams were so bad he was the 2nd best choice....

Trying to think of the terrible tall white guys who were just three point shooters or goons. Too many to name.

This post reminded me of Priest Lauderdale and the guy the Mavs drafted. Podkolzine or something like that. Amazing those guys used to get drafted in the first round. They could hardly move, let alone play basketball.
Who remembers Thomas Hamilton? Was literally 400 pounds. The fact that he played in a game at all was pretty remarkable.

31 points on 10/11 shooting. 6/7 on threes. 5 boards, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block.
on that particular team also was Flip Murray who had his own flash in the pan story.

That was a great time to have a fun team and be immortalized by a generational video game. Sonics were always one of everyone's favorites with Payton and Kemp. For Tournament Edition I preferred Glen Rice and Harold Miner

James "Hollywood" Robinson
Rumeal Robinson
Played on the Blazers at the same time as Cliff Robinson. Might have been the only time a team had three guys with the same last name.
