He did come out with a few abrupt quips like "this is not reality its sports' and "none of your business'. Obviously he would rather not have to deal this BS. And Ben is not the first star player to pull a "Practice" tantrum. Let's see what happens but yeah, it does not look good for the Sixers and Ben Simons going forward.
Ben is acting a fool, but also, the team wanted him back in camp when the relationship clearly was over. they should have kept him away until they could trade him.
The team stood by and did nothing as embiid trashed him all summer. This is the result of tanking and treating guys like assets and not people. they want him back in camp to increase his value, but dont GAF about the person.
The Sixers brought that foolishness on themselves.
As bad as things are here with Kyrie, at least the situation didn't turn completely toxic and if he gets vaccinated or comes back because restrictions ease in the spring, I'm sure everyone will welcome him back with open arms.
With that situation in Philly, you've got public sniping going on, guys selling their houses, and now guys getting kicked out of practice.
Leadership in organizations matter. No matter how pissed Marks is right now, you've got credit how things haven't gone completely off of the rails like they have over there.
Ben is being completely unprofessional but it takes two to tango. Embiid can't stop talking sh*t, which doesn't help.
