I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The man had 2 catches today and really has only made a significant impact in one game this year.MickeyDavis wrote:ReginaldDwight wrote:MickeyDavis wrote:Gute got blasted for "caving" to Rodgers and bringing back Cobb
Lets be real cobb hasnt looked this good in years. Hope he stays healthy
It was a 6th round pick. Low risk, high reward. And the reward has been high
Meanwhile the reason why the Packers weren't able to bring in Gilmore was due to not being able to absorb his salary so im not sure why anyone would be quick to take a victory lap on bringing Cobb back

Re: Game 5: Packers at Bengals - Noon - Fox
Cobb made a great 16 yard catch on 3rd down that led to the game winner. Last week 2 big TD's. I'd say he has played a major role in 2 of the 4 victories. Sure he could get hurt. But MVS is hurt right now, Lazard has done nothing, ESB is a scrub and Amari a rook. And Davante has missed games each of the last 4 seasons. There's no guarantee Gilmore would be here. And no guarantee he'll be productive this season ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes that 16 yarder that he wasn't exactly running free but has Rodgers looking for him as a saftey blanket because he's familiar with him. (sure you can argue that Rodgers trust is worth the price of admission production be damned but since most that would make that argument also would be the same ones to say Rodgers would build trust with insert "#4-5 wr here" over the years im going to ignore it)MickeyDavis wrote:Cobb made a great 16 yard catch on 3rd down that led to the game winner. While no guarantee most reports point to not being able to absorb Gilmores salary as the reason the Packers didn't trade for him. Can I say that with 100% certainty? No. But I can say with confidence it's a hell of a lot more likely to of happened had Cobb not been acquired.
Cobb had a big game against Pittsburgh. He was really good last week. Much respect to his play a week ago. This week he was a complete non factor outside of a single play and just like I won't judge a CB poorly that locks his man down all day but gives up one play at the end im not going to give a pass to a WR that can't get open on consistent basis but makes a single play at the end

I wish he was a young dude entering his prime instead of a guy who's likely to get overpaid in the offseason.

Campbell has been really good. Probably the best ILB we've had since.....????? Desmond Bishop in 2010?

And that's not a good thing
Agreed. More effective around 60-65 catches and 800 yards.imo

Could not agree more.
Campbell 2021 brings back memories of Bishop 2010 - that last time I enjoyed an inside linebacker play for the Packers.
And, I doubted that Campbell was going to be any better than the many other scrubs we've trotted out there the last several years.

Yeah he's been pretty solid. Honestly better then Bishop. Hopefully J Smith can help keep Summers and Burks off the fieldLikeABosh wrote:Campbell has been really good. Probably the best ILB we've had since.....????? Desmond Bishop in 2010?

I also wanted nothing to do with bringing Cobb back and he's already made a number of of enormous plays through five weeks. The lesson here? Rodgers is usually right.

Well I don't know about that
Kumerow has been active but has zero catches for Buffalo this season

St. Brown with maybe the most pathetic block attempt in history on the bubble screen where lazard gets lit up.

He got totally **** up. He looked to be out cold for a few seconds. I think there’s a small chance he threw straight to our guy in OT because he was confused

Just rewatched it, I think they were looking at his neck, wonder if that was maybe the throat contusion? I also think he was scared **** that his legs were taken out that violently and that he was taking some time to figure out if all his legs were still in working order, definitely had a bit of a limp coming out of the blue tent.

Didn't he have more than one blocking whiff?

True. But when we're talking about the last WR on the depth chart, as was the case with Kumerow vs. Malik Taylor, I'll always advocate for the guy the QB is most comfortable with. Unless, of course, that QB is someone other than a multi-MVP, first ballot HOF'er with a ring.

Campbell has been so good. Along with the INT at the end of this game, he also had a first play TFL on the next Bengals drive. And he forced the final Bengals missed FG, stopping their RB cold in front of the marker on 3rd down. He was doing it all especially in crunch time.

I believe Lazard was the one who whiffed on the Jones swing pass. Either way, pretty poor execution on those plays today.

Idk if this is what you’re thinking of, but we ran that same screen earlier to a different WR with Lazard blocking and CIN blew that one up too.
