I don't recall anyone ever endorsing Arci as a starting PG. I don't know if anyone even endorsed this dude as the primary backup PG.
As a 3rd string PG, he was pretty reasonable.
I think I actually even started a thread advocating that Arci start. But it had nothing to do with him being a starter quality point guard. It was about us really, really weirdly having no other point guards on the roster last year once Coby (in a surprise to no one) proved he was not a point guard, and would serve the team better as a bench scorer.
So yeah, there was a little advocacy to start Arci, but it had nothing to do with him. It was about the absolutely pathetic state of the team’s PG situation last year, which is the worst I think I’ve ever seen on an an NBA team.
Fortunately we resolved that problem.
