Thats debatable.

Everyone is walking into this expecting him to be booed. It's not news nor is it change the calculation in any way. Now if there is an incident beyond that maybe it becomes more of a story but just booing isn't a huge deal sorry.

That’s not reality as it will confirm to other GMs that the situation is untenable and the price will only go south from there

Jimmy Butler made a mockery of practice. James Harden expressed his frustration by showing up looking pregnant. If Ben's power move is to (checks notes) not participate in a stupid team high five, we'll survive.

Don't think most people will find you to be a reliable source on "reality."

Anthony Davis was heavily booed be the home crowd after he asked for a trade and had to stay with team until the offseason.

He ended up getting a better deal for Pels in the offseason and he only cited one team he'd be keen on.

That assumes the rest of the league is going to be frozen where it is now. It isn't. Guys will get unhappy other opportunities will present themselves.

Harden also made a mockery at practice, to the point John Wall and Cousins requested the front office stop having him report to practice. Butler anc Harden both outplayed their teammates in practice and then criticized their teammates games. How would Ben do that? He doesn’t have the offensive skills to outplay anybody at practice.

Harden didn’t outplay anyone

Turned up fat, got suspended after a night out with strippers, criticised the team and spent 10 games sleepwalking

He was the anti Butler

Btw, that Jimmy thing is an urban myth as he didn’t outplay anyone either

He yelled at people

Anthony Davis was heavily booed be the home crowd after he asked for a trade and had to stay with team until the offseason.

He ended up getting a better deal for Pels in the offseason and he only cited one team he'd be keen on.

Pelicans ended up shutting down Davis the rest of the season. And he had one season left with opt out

So different situation

The trade lakers proposed mid season was essentially the same offer pelicans got in the off season

The only thing thing that changed that made the pelicans trade was rigged
1. Pelicans got overall 1 in the lottery
2. Lakers pick jumped to overall number 4

The it wasn’t necessarily a better deal. If you google trade “rumors” lakers offered ball,Ingram, hart and couple of first round picks

Essentially same trade the pelicans got in the summer.

Only difference was the actual draft slots were known which made it a lot easier for Davis to be traded.

Harden showed up and dropped 44 the first game. He looked fat in one pic, but then many other photos came out where he looked his normal physique. Harden could abuse anybody on that roster the minute he showed up.

At a certain point, you run out of tolerance for silly nonsense. Doc has reached that point with Simmons.

Nobody should have any tolerance for Bum Simmons, as simple as that, what has he done to deserve it? "I've been thrown under the bus, I deserve much better, let's force a trade even though I still have 4 years left on my contract"? or is it the amazing work he has put in the offseason working on his shot?
I find it baffling how suddenly fans from other teams blame Embiid more than Simmons, when the reality is that Simmons has wanted out of this team for quite some time now, but he had to get dat moneyyy, so he signed that 5-year multimilion extension that supposedly implied remaining a Sixer for a long time instead of signing the qualifying offer to be able to change his team much sooner, and then a year later fabricated the being thrown under the bus narrative to justify forcing a trade, when in reality it's what he wanted all along the year before.
