pumped for real games... a win or loss doesn't really matter 1 of 82 but im POSITIVE that Harden/KD will be jacked to get the W tonight. Should be a tough one on the road but we are the better team with at least 2 healthy stars as we showed last year. So hopefully we take it....

Excited for the new faces... Mills, Bembry, Carter will be fun to watch. those guys all bring it.

Hopefully Nash watched that film and he plays lopez off the court with pick and rolls. want to see some claxton too

I think with the Bucks and their injuries, the Nets will take this one. I expect Harden/KD to set the tone early and shut the Bucks and their fans down. I expect a similar massacre of what Miami did to Dallas in 2011 after Dallas got their rings. Scary hours coming to a theater near you.

We will get a glimpse into how both teams did in the offseason. The Bucks lost PJ Tucker who was so critical in their playoff series win over us last season. But they did pick up some nice pieces, Grayson Allen, Rodney Hood and George Hill. They are still the team to beat this season and it won't be easy.

Tonight I am just going to enjoy the double header and hope Nash doesn't send my blood pressure through the roof.

I dont see them as the team to beat. not even in the east (IMO miami is a full tier better then the bucks).

I have the Nets, Heat, Nuggets, Jazz, Lakers as undisputed 1 tier above milwaulee, who is in that next tier with the clippers and golden state.

I expect the team to do A LOT of experimenting with rotations and every player that isn't KD + James + Harris early in the year. I don't expect it to be super smooth sailing early. Especially against a team like Milwaukee who has a really solid identity. I'm sure everyone will kill Nash immediately even though there are some real legit tough decisions to make with LMA, Claxton, Blake, Millsap, and Bruce Brown.

All I want to see is how we try to guard Giannis. Last year Blake was our only real option and he was up and down. Millsap + James Johnson are new options. Claxton hasn't had any luck but I'd love to see more of it. We also have some stronger defenders to help.

I dont think you can kill a coach on rotations day 1 unless their is an obvious horrendous move. and as much as i think claxton HAS to play, its not like we have prime shaq sitting on the bench. Same with W/L the first week or two. outside of the playoffs, teams play with more intensity and are more hot cold this next 4-6 games then any time during the year.

And despite year 2 of the big 3, still alot of new faces am chemistry. If 2 weeks in Claxton is still glued to the bench without some kind of LMA/Milsap/Johsnon great player or 5-1 start (dont fix what aint broke) id probably start chirping but as of now see how things look. One look i would like to see is KD/Milsap at the 3/4 instead of KD/Brown. But again, like you said alot to sort out.

Nash has alot to prove outside rotations. he was inarguably the worst X's and O's coach in the league. maybe some of that was D'antoni. Hopefully it was. We konw enough by now that you need to put brook in the pick and roll and make middleton a driver not a pull up shooter. things like that cant be ignored.

stay healthy, get a win. in that order :)

Yep. Health trumps wins in the regular season. Get us to May with KD and Harden at 100% and we will be in business

Claxton needs to play. Someone is going to have to check their ego in that front court. Personally, I think LMA should be the one to yield minutes. If we are playing teams like Denver or Philly, yeah we need him. But versus teams that don't have Beast ass centers that can dominate Claxton physically, let the kid play 30 mins.

It’s surreal seeing Brook Lopez get a ring in front of us. Wow.

Claxton starting and we're playing big. Interesting way to start. Might hurt our offense with Blake at the 4 but it's worth a look.
