Young scrappy team on a sunday earlier in the end has all the makings of an upset home opener. guys need to come prepared and bring it
True on all counts. Charlotte and Chicago are the two EC teams that I feel could trouble us more than their record will indicate. They both may end up sub-.500 on the season, but they'll give us fits with their athleticism, aggressive perimeter ball-hawking and open court playmaking.
It would be a gut punch to lose our home opener. We need to solve our defensive strategy against the corner 3. We have too many regular rotation players losing their assignments while ball watching. Then their guy relocates and splashes and open 3. Charlotte plays small ball a ton, so I think we'd better have a new starting lineup with Brown, or at least a very short leash on Nic.
Bruce had the size, strength and speed to bother Lamelo the way that few can. I don't think it would be wise to put any of James, Joe, Jevon or Patty on him unless it's an unavoidable switch. Have Bruce Almighty shadow him the whole game, and then we shouldn't have to worry about Charlotte controlling the pace.
