Adams is kinda washed up and kinda over rated.

Does Derrick Favors have anything left in the tank? I’m sure OKC would give him up cheap - they got a 1st for absorbing his contract last year.
If Minnesota had useless expirings, Minnesota could get him for free since he has two years left, but unfortunately I don’t think he has enough left in the tank to justify trading our existing players for him. Would be an awesome rotational piece, though.

I gave it a +1 because I think he’s the “type” of player we need. However, I agree with winlose that I’m not too sure what he’s got left right now, plus I think anyone who’s exclusively a center might be limited for minutes, unless we push some of Towns minutes to PF. I like the concept though.

I checked and we could trade Prince for Favors straight up. Honestly, Favors would slot into Prince’s minutes anyway. You would play Favors with Reid and Vando. The downside is lack of shooting on the perimeter, but the upside is 3 big bodies down low to rebound and throw it back in. Lineups Dlo, Ant, JO, MCD, KAT. Beverly, Beasley, V8, Reid, Favors. You still have depth in every position with JMAC, Nowell, and Leo covering 1-3 and Layman who in a dire pinch can cover the 3-4 but would probably only be used if 4 or 5 guys were out and was absolutely necessary.
Edit to add, while Favors would be an extra year commitment, his salary is significantly lower than Princes. This move plus the trade exemption from the original Prince for Rubio move would give the wolves real money to work with either signing a 15th player (less likely at this point,) or trading for one and staying under the cap later. Favors makes 9.7 this year, Prince makes 13.0

Just a heads up WFL is a faster abbreviation than winlose but I did get a kick out of it.

On the contrary…I though it was a very creative idea that I’d do in a minute.

Cavs got Sexton/Garland/Rubio/Okoro at the guard positions, so they have no incentive to do this deal, so I'd be down to even sweeten it with a lottery protected 1st rounder or a couple of 2nds so that they accept the deal. Or maybe find a 3rd team that gets DLo for a couple of overpaid ~15 mil guys that they want to get rid of.
Kevin Love is ironically a great fit with his skillset for us imo. We gamble on his health, but yea.

How weird modern NBA is that even washed, mentally broken 33yo Love will ourebound most starting PF and entire Wolves frontcourt.Spoiler:
The real problem is that he cant hit anything, even from mid range. I think his passing and rebounding will be always elite, but without shooting he is not a starter quality big. I dont know if his shooting slump is related to bad shape though
