I voted Trez but shout out to the whole bench. They went 19/25 from the field for 51 points!

Easy call for Trez. Outside of Beal I thought the whole team played well though.

Definitely Trez then Dinwiddie with honorable mentions to both Deni and KCP for some big moments.

CCJ, you gotta start the Hawks game thread (GT #5: ATL Hawks @ Bullets [10/28/21]). Keep the mojo going

Defo Harrell.

I cringe every time I see him handle the ball and it feels like he had more than the one turnover he was credited with, but he's just an absolute marvel slithering to the basket as the roll man, extending possessions with his offensive rebounding and just in general being a relentless pest.

I have my misgivings about his pick and roll defense at times, but it usually takes more than one player to defend those situations and overall the Wizards looked stout for the majority of the time he was on.

38 minutes out there on the floor too, just a great effort.

The most impactful Wizard so far this season, crazy.

I loved Deni's defense on Jaylen Brown.

He's flashed that potential last year, but he's really coming into his own on that end.

Trez, obvs. But KCP deserves to be nominated.

I voted for Harrell, but I'm surprised Dinwiddie hasn't gotten any votes - he was really good at both ends.

Trez but I like Dinwiddie's clutch gene. He and Brad better figure out how to play through contact and not expect refs to bail them out any more. Work on some "Jordan Rules" strength to get the ball in the basket despite being touched with pattycake hands. I think SDw and Brad haven't figured out how to play together, Spence is deferring to a guy who is shooting 20+ shots a game, while missing most of them. It's another Everybody Eats situation when the star is out of the game and the bench goes berserk. Brad is trying to earn a supermax. He still contributes when his shot isn't falling, but, it's an Emperor has no clothes situation with Brad on his 3pt shooting. The open secret on his 3-ball is that it has always been more pretty-looking than reliable-- unless he's playing next to Wall where every outside shooter was spoonfed open looks. This team would do well with a true set-up man at point. Both DInwiddie and Brad dribble more than pass. I get the feeling this will sort itself out as players get more familiar with each other and Wes' offense. There were a few miscues where players cut instead of sticking at a spot, etc, that sort of stuff evens out by the end of the year.

Deni. I like how players think they can go after the Euro kid and end up taking bad shots. He plays defense with his feet, just getting in the way and mucking up their rhythm. He doesn't look like a shut down defender, but his defensive effect is notable and he is game to defend whatever size attacker is thrown at him. Not a shutdown defender but he shaves the numbers down on opponents shot percentage.

Trez without doubt. Though props to Dinwiddie (clutch), KCP (shut down Jaylen Brown), Holiday (great 4th q) and Deni (solid all around) too. I also liked the few minutes of Kispert, very composed on the floor.

Honestly, If Beal had a pedestrian game this would have been a blow out.

He played really well, no doubt. But, Harrell was just amazing last night -- hard to vote for anyone else.

Ah, DinDins got his first vote! Trez has the other 20.
