Love how Miles is busting out wide open. But he will still need to contend with the defensive adaptations teams will use to target him (which Miami demonstrated recently). None of our best (Melo, Gordo, Miles) are so deadly that they can MJ whenever called upon. They take a shot, miss, and we have no serious big to consistently contend for a putback. It will take more time to learn how to share and attack. During that Miami comeback attempt, each player tried to go Superman on their own, and struggled. We still play our best with great ball movement, speed and sharing with the open man. It’s there, but crunch time will take some extra work.
Miles has future star written on his resume now. Early on didn’t think I’d say that, but his hard work has given him the opportunity.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
