Yep that's so unfair. It's when everybody were saying Klay & Green were bums but they win the chip then all of sudden Curry had too much help. Gotta love it. Can't make this stuff up.
Now Curry has Klay, Dray, Wiggins, GPII, Poole, etc, etc. Too much talent. Hand hat man the chip NOW!
Remember when everybody said Wiggins suck and nobody wanted him. Wiggins is a classic example of what happens when you play with a superstar who is empowering and not demeaning. But I will let haters carry on as they are clueless.
We always gave Tim Duncan so much credit just for the way he carried himself as a "superstar". Always putting the team before himself. It's time we give Curry that same respect.
It's really crazy how so many players remade or revitalized their careers playing for the Warriors. Obviously says a lot about Curry but also their system.
I’d use the word “culture” instead of “system” here at this point. Granted the two are intimately connected, but so often we think about a basketball system as something that is about Xs and Os, and the human element here is just huge.
I can’t help but think of Ted Lasso, which of course is no coincidence.
If this continues Kerr is my runaway pick for COY, with Curry, Green, and Iguodala almost deserving to share it with him.
It’s absolutely the most positive thing I see in the NBA right now, and I think it’s clear at this point that the Warriors are going to be a serious threat for the foreseeable future.

Culture is the perfect description. Remember Kerr played under Lute Olsen, Phil Jackson, Popovich, and Lenny Wilkens, and kind of brought a little of each of them to this team, and even went outside of basketball to coaches like Pete Carroll. But in general we were trying to build a culture like the Spurs where everyone was held accountable and players could come and go but the machine still ran well. But just like that worked because of the attitude and work ethic of Duncan, it worked with us because Curry has that same team first mentality.
But i think honestly that the credit even needs to go higher, to Lacob. We were trash before he came in, and he set really high expectations and basically said we were willing to spend any amount of money to meet them. He was willing to spend money for example for someone like West to come in and help build the foundation for the organization going forward. One reason he got rid of Jackson because he wanted him to go and hire the best assistants possible and instead Jackson just kept his loyal buddies who werent that great. Also Lacob hired and promoted Bob Meyers, who like him were longtime Warriors fans, and Meyers was like Kerr, a great communicator without a huge ego who had lots of player and team connections because of being an agent before. Lacob set an environment where it wasnt one GM that made all the decisions, but all the decisions were really decided on as a team which lots of people getting input. Lots of fans gave him crap for the Monta trade, but that was EXACTLY the culture and roster change that created this dynasty where it freed up Curry and got Klay on the court while bringing over a smart big man in Bogut.
And also as far as culture, i love that Lacob has brought back a lot of players to work for us that were fan favorites, like Mullin, Zaza, Livingston, Barbosa, etc, and brings back players like Jrich last night as guests.
Thats why also i hope we dont trade Wiseman, Kuminga or any of the young guys that have potential. For us to still have a chance to compete for the title, while having our young guys being taught by Draymond, Iggy, Steph and Klay, is just a great opportunity to keep the franchise competitive for years to come.
