Hoopshype's "20 Greatest PFs ever" list
Worth a read: link.
They also published the PGs, SGs and SFs lists, you can find them at the link above.
Here's the list:
1. Tim Duncan
2. Karl Malone
3. Kevin Garnett
4. Dirk Nowitzki
5. Giannis Antetokounmpo
6. Charles Barkley
7. Bob Pettit
8. Elvin Hayes
9. Anthony Davis
10. Kevin McHale
11. Pau Gasol
12. Dolph Schayes
13. Dennis Rodman
14. Draymond Green
15. Chris Webber
16. Jerry Lucas
17. Bobby Jones
18. Dave DeBusschere
19. Rasheed Wallace
20. LaMarcus Aldridge
Some brief commentary from me:
- Good list at the top 4/5, you can't really escape from these names
- Will Giannis reach number 1 when it's all said & done? I think he has a good chance to reach 2, dunno about 1.
- Pettit & Hayes have become underrated over time.
- Davis seems extremely high at first glance, though if you look at the names after him, he's somewhat properly placed.
- Bobby Jones over Dave DeBusschere is plain wrong, and I say that as a Jones absolute, inconditional fan.
- No Chris Bosh is surprising & confusing.
Cheers & discuss.

Re: Hoopshype's "20 Greatest PFs ever" list
I'd probably put Malone at 5 and move everyone above that a spot up, and I'd switch Davis with Gasol. Not bad otherwise
Actually I'd put Dirk #2 and then Giannis at #3, KG at #4

dont see any reason to not have freak at 3rd at least. If rasheed wallace gave a rats ass about his legacy or all time anything he could have easily been where pau is. guy was so talented.

They have Pettit and McHale way too low. Dirk was nowhere near as good as them.

Schayes is the one that stands out to me as notably underrated. I'd probably have him #8. I'm lower on Malone than that as well, I'd probably have him #4. Giannis behind Barkley (maybe even Pettit) for now, though closing.
I bought a boat.

Pettit should be top 5 and Schayes top 10. But not bad actually
"Coach, why don't you just relax? We're not good enough to beat the Lakers. We've had a great year, why don't you just relax and cool down?"

Somebody call JJ Reddick since Love isnt on here
My top 5 personally:
1. Duncan
2. Dirk (for now)
3. Giannis (will pass Dirk with nothing other than longevity at this point)
4. KG
5. Malone

Re: Hoopshype's "20 Greatest PFs ever" list
Are they hoping Bosh responds, since hes retired and he has replied to disrespectful stuff before?
I mean, how else do you explain putting a guy like Bobby Jones, who averaged 14 and 9 in his peak, and 12 and 6 over his career?
If you want to pay homage to the people of the past, do so. But don't make a mockery of it in hopes for clicks (Hoopshype, not OP).

Maybe they considered Bosh as a C (the C's list is not out yet).

Oof maybe you're right. I was quick to judge. Thanks.

I hope I'm wrong though, because I certainly don't consider Bosh as a C.
Cheers.

Re: Hoopshype's "20 Greatest PFs ever" list
Wow that's actually a fantastic list.
I think Dirk should be below Barkley and Greek Freak but I get one doesn't have a ring and the other is still young so out of respect they like to wait. So I get why out of respect they'd put Dirk that high.
