At 9-12 where do you stand?

Tank World Order: Hope the team continues its downward trajectory so that they can add another top lottery pick talent to the core of Barnes and OG?

Its that same old story that happens in the nba over and over again.

Rookie joins team and has no tolerance for his championship winning veteran teammates and their poor decision making.

I get the idea of tanking. Especially if there are circumstances like injuries. But this "shiny new toy" mentality where we are pitting a rookie who hasnt even been drafted yet against our veterans is delusional and hilarious.

I love trading Pascal for Holmes and one of their PGs

That's the trade where you just upgrade to a playoff team, rudy gay style

You dont dump existing players as a reaction to who you select in the draft. Thats not how to build a team.

Which Scottie Barnes? pre-draft Scottie Barnes or today's Scottie Barnes? There is a big difference

Pre-draft Scottie Barnes but without the question marks that he'd have provided answers for (and boyyy has he given good answers        ).

Looking at the standings I'd say the lowest we could realistically get pre-lottery is 7th just like last year. We're not going to out tank the Magic, Pistons, Rockets, Thunder, or Spurs in any scenario. Maybe Zion comes back and Pelicans start winning but Kings and Pacers are right there too. And you know we'll be trying to win so we can properly develop guys until at least all star break.

It's too early to say anything else but I'd bet actual money we won't fall lower than 7th.

That is correct. We aren’t nearly bad enough to be laughing stock like the Hoffa/Bargnani days. We’re also very hard pressed to even make the play in games the way things are going. And more injuries are coming from Fred/Scottie/and probably Siakam. We can barely win with all of them healthy now.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

I think this just shows how important OG is to the team. Him and Barnes are Raptors for life!

Right! I don't want Fox or Davion Mitchell and they aren't trading Haliburton.

Duarte for the pacers got his jersey pulled during a fast break for the lead in the last few seconds but the refs didn't call it. Pacers always choke away wins last minute. It's crazy, Brogdan and Sabonis ain't it. Reminds me of the Raptors with Fred and Siakam.

Loss would have pulled us closer to them. They have a semi tough stretch coming.

I didn't realize until today that Jaden Ivey's mom (Niele Ivey) is the coach at Notre Dame, and played in the WNBA. Honestly I see that as a massive positive, it increases the chances that he has a high BBIQ

Same with AJ Griffin, Patrick Baldwin Jr, anyone else?

Here's an Ivey interview, seems like a great kid, says "you know" a lot though

Yup, we're slowly moving down away from the pack of play in contenders. You love to see it.
