Especially when speed is not an advantage this offense is willing to exploit. Given our roster (and looking back at Kemba this yr maybe he couldn't do it) we should be playing at a higher pace but Thibs isn't about that life.
So what ends up happening is we play a small perimeter (or did with Kemba and RJ at SF) at a pace that suits teams with tall PGs who see over the defense( problem solved) and long defenders.
However, with that said teams that play with a perimeter our size are lighting it up. That's on RJ with these slumps. He's gotta take better shots and make better shots. I'm curious to see how Burks changes this team. At the end of the day Thibs wants a team who grinds it out defensively and if the offense is ugly to us then it's ugly for everyone else and he probably likes it just like that. Bore the other team to death.
