A.Bradley seemed to go through an extended period of not being available last year and was available to Houston pretty quickly after being moved, the year before J.Johnson and D.Waiters went through extended times being out that seemed much more then they needed. Maybe Miami is being safe but it seems this doesn't happen to their key players like Butler (who recently came back possibly too early) and Bam.
I do wonder if Miami was upset with the foul Morris did against Jokic and are worried something like that could happen during a close playoff game that possibly costs them the game.
I haven't read or heard anything that would suggest the Heat is upset with Morris in any way. A couple of years ago he missed 6 weeks due to a neck injury which I'm sure was impacted by the cheap shot from the clown.
Ah... I'm taking other things in consideration as in Morris looking fine in a recent shoot around and Spoelstra saying he wasn't supposed to be on the main court shooting (where media could see). It just seems to me that Miami players who end up getting moved are out much longer than you'd expect them to be, at least since the time Butler's been on the roster, I didn't follow this team that much before then.
BTW... I'm not saying the Jokic shot wasn't a cheap shot, it was, but Morris was excessive with his foul right before that. Jokic gets away with a lot of little cheap shots each game because of his size and star status.
Morris was shooting around a week and a half ago before games and didn't look to have any issues or concerns with his neck.
Morris has missed 2 more games since this tweet. Missing 19 and counting games seems odd when he seems fine in shoot arounds.
