Based on the info I've received Suns will have options to add a quality player to their rotation without giving up much as a 3rd team in a bigger trade. I'm told they could be the difference maker financially in various deals involving high profile players! Waiting on right deal! ?s=20

The Suns are in a very opportunistic position with the Contracts of Dario Saric, Jalen Smith and Abdel Nader. Team's looking for that home run swing involving high profile players could need these contracts to get the deal done. Suns patiently waiting in a position of strength. ?s=20
I wonder if Flex realizes that Nader has an interesting contract
1) need his approval for a trade
2) he would lose his bird-rights this summer
Granted, with Payton in the fold, he can be traded so Saric and Payton for Young works now cap wise where the Suns didn't have that minimum level contract this summer - Suns could also send $3m in cash and a 2RP and the Spurs would be financially pretty even with losing the Young salary but getting some money for Saric next season
I think Nader would be OK with it knowing he may have a better chance at playing time elsewhere (when healthy).
His bird rights likely aren't worth anything anyway. He's not getting more than vet min on his next deal
