Just trade Jaylen for the best return we can get. 36 shot attempts and 0 assists. The ball dies with him and he’s shown no willingness to improve. It sounds like Al’s been trying to encourage ball movement and he refuses to look in the mirror.

Hard to get an assist when no one else makes a shot either.

Really hoping the embarrassment of the last two games gets Jaylen to change his mindset though. Have a strong feeling he will just triple down though.

Yes I’m sure Jaylen having a +/- of -2 while Pritchard, Rob & Romeo combining for a +/- of 58 wasn’t the reason or that every time he did dish the ball out to the wide open man they’d just end up bricking it. Well, if they keep losing-- and I expect they will-- the LAST thing I want to do is trade away picks. This year's first rounder is looking more and more like a lottery pick. I want to acquire picks.

Players I want to keep:
1. Marcus Smart, who sets an example with his intensity.
2. Grant Williams-- He plays good defense and has turned himself into a competent shooter.
3. Brodrick Thomas. He showed me last night that he is an NBA player.
4. Juhann Begarin and Yam Madar. Both have real potential.

I thought about putting Pritchard and Hauser on the above list, but neither one can defend at the NBA level.

True. Worked out great for Philadelphia, Sacramento, New Orleans, Knicks, Charlotte, Minnesota etc...tanking is no sure fire way to build a winner. For every Dallas and Phoenix there's a long waiting period and a laundry list of franchises that are consistently picking early. If you think 2-3 years is going to be enough time to work through a tank and a true rebuild you're out of your mind. Smart would need to go otherwise he then becomes tank commander which in turn tanks his value. He's going to end up going nuts and becoming the guard version on Antonie Walker if that happens. No one needs to encourage him to shoot more 3s than he already does. Not to mention if you're trading Jaylen and Jayson people know that you have zero leverage other than having them under contract which as we've seen recently doesn't mean anything in the NBA.
