Eh. I mean, Tobias is definitely significantly overpaid. And his play style hasn't jived with a post centric offense. But I think he's pretty clearly a better basketball player in a vacuum than either of those guys.

Disagree. Kleber is a legit defender and is content standing in the corner which opens up the floor for Jo. He's like a PJ Tucker type that I'd also move Tobias for without hesitation.

I think your evaluation is heavily influenced by his salary and the fact that he's under the microscope here if that's the conclusion you've come to.

Christian Wood could probably be had for cheap. He'd be a nice get to either play fulltime at PF (move harris to SF) or come off the bench as a backup C/PF

Harris/Wood/Embiid doesn't feel like a good idea to me. I think he'd be underutilized and unhappy here.

Find playoff teams who maybe looking to get a max cap space by 2024. As of now, I only see the Mavs.

Dallas also has a few less than ideal locker room types. Tobias and his books raise morale. Team leader!

For real, though, Dallas is the target for getting rid of Tobias. The other team, if they really don’t care about paying tax, would be Utah.

Harris/Milton for Hardaway Jr./Kleber is the move!

There is a lot of room to add to that deal as well, should it be necessary.

Primarily going off draft evaluation. He has shown flashes though, and has a ton of room to grow. Maybe most importantly, he will still maintain great value into the summer if the Sixers wanted to flip him again because they didn’t want to wait.

Simmons’ stock is not that great. The most logical inference to draw from all that has transpired so far is that Morey is simply waiting for a team to be forced into a deal. I’d prefer the better chip now as opposed to praying your opponent is dealing from weakness.

Of course, a team like Washington might rather have a pedigreed name player like Simmons as opposed to a kid like Jalen Green. So you can make the argument the other way as well.

Honestly, I don't think it matters how pedestrian he's been in year 1.

He's an elite athlete bomber from three. As soon as exponential growth takes place, he's going to be a 25+ ppg scorer and the exact kind of player that carriers your offense deep in the playoffs.

He would probably be underutilized here but he's not a guy I think the offense has to run through to have value. He is a very good floor spacer and can play good defense.

He would be a good piece next to Embiid and Harris. We also quite frankly need the help. His contract isn't terrible either and he just had a blowup with the coaching staff it seems a perfect time to do a deal furthermore the more talent we surround Embiid with the more leverage we have in any Simmons trade.

I think Dallas is desperate enough to want Tobi as well. Cuban has to keep Luka happy and winning and they are likely stuck with the Porzingis contract. Adding a bad contract like Tobi might be the only way they can add a good player to their team anytime soon.

A little messier of a trade but…

Sixers- Wood, Eric Gordon, and Cauley-Stein
Gordon’s contract sucks to take on, but it’s nowhere near as bad as Tobi and his 40+% from 3 would be very helpful

Mavs- Tobi and Shake
Mavs make the desperate move for Tobi for only Powell and Kleber out of their rotation. Also get out of the mistake contract they regret giving to Bullock already.

Houston- Powell, Kleber, Knox, House Jr, a bunch of 2 round picks
Salary dump and culture change. Real value is getting rid of Gordon’s contract and setting them up for cap space in 2 years when Wall, Powell, Kleber, and Augustine will be about $75M combined in expirings.

Thibs loves Bullock and I think the Knicks would be happy to dump expirings for him
