I hear criticism that this iso offense allows defenses to rest, well it also allows our offense to rest. KD also serves as a primary ball handler albeit limited, but that is still a breather for a player like Harden who basically carried the rock 80% of this game and played the highest minutes. Beal was exhausted too and played 37 minutes but they found some balance using Avdija and Kispert along with Dinwiddie. Cam played a small role, I agree he should be used more to stagger possessions in a primary scoring role, otherwise we need another player especially when Kyrie sits. Mills is more of a spot up shooter. This is what we have to live with being so top heavy. When Durant is back and Kyrie is on the floor we are a different team.
It shouldn't take 3 top 10 players to survive. yeah all 3 obviously is different, but most teams get by with 1 or 0 stars
The glaring reality is we don't really have 3 top 10 players available and we never will as long as one of them continues to let a personal decision impact his basketball life and all the players/coaches/gm's/fans linked to it. I'll let it go from now on, that is my last piece said. I won't blame any one thing, or any one player for that matter, it's just frustrating and it's easy to lash out at one thing. There are holes to fill and every team relies on a little luck in the end, hopefully we get something in the buyout market that helps, or make a positive trade by the deadline. Maybe we get hit with some luck down the road, god knows we are due.
