My guess would be Conley, as they both play the same position, and the Jazz are the ones who want further compensations. We don't have any other players that will command further compensation from the other team (excluding Gobert and Mitchell) for an exchange of players on Smart's level.

Question though, just how bad has Conley's defense become?
I haven't watched many games so someone else's opinion on the matter will be more valuable. However, even if his defense is ok, we have a very small back court with him and Mitchell and we need more size and defensive versatility.
For the record, I wouldn't be very enthusiastic about a trade centered around Conley-Smart because Smart, who I like as a player, is not a very good floor general imho. He makes very suspect decisions and he shoots at low percentages. Frankly, if this is the trade we make, we might as well have stuck with Rubio, who makes much better decisions and is also a good defender.
