Denver has pick 9, two seconds and two thirds in this draft, then I would assume a 1st and either second or third in the next draft. Might depend on which players come back in the deal, but if purely picks, I think it would be on the table for both Rodgers and Adams.

No way GB doesnt get back a 1st in this years draft a tagged adams alone is worth 2 1st round picks.
Im doing 2 1sts 2nds and a combo of 2 players simmons surtain fant chubb jeudy.Not trading rogers n adams for 2 2nd n 3rds

Ok so Rodgers & DaVante for: lets say Jeudy and Surtain are included. So how many picks would more than likely be included on top of that? 3 firsts and a 2nd?

I don't think we get anything close to that.

Roughly speaking I have Surtain worth a first and Jeudy a second.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Ok, so in your opinion what would we get for Rodgers and Adams?

Re: Packers 2022 Offseason Thread - Hackett to Denver
I have no idea on individual players or picks could come back in a Rogers+ trade, but I'd bet the "buyer" would view their SB window as being narrow, 2-3 years; so they're likely to want to retain quality right-now players that are on their rosters already. I'd guess they would be more inclined to part with draft picks, or roster players viewed as projects.
Denver seems most logical, but I wouldn't rule out the Steelers either.

Regular season wins mean nothing when you cant out of your own way in the playoffs.People were excited about bud having the most wins 2 years in a row n both times he dropped the ball in the POs.
Win the most reg season games so what 2 years #1 seed n nada
go back to the sentence from Dennis that I quoted. "proven basically nothing." That's idiotic. He's proven he can win more games than any other coach.
If you are a "Super Bowl winner or bust" kind of guy, I feel sorry for you.

Unfortunately that’s not the case. They can’t trade Rodgers until the new league year begins. As of now they’re about $40 million over the cap and they have to be under before the new league year begins.
Are you sure about that? They can't tag and trade Adams until the new league year begins, but Rodgers is under contract for next year.

Denver isn't including Surtain in any potential trade for Rodgers.

Re: Packers 2022 Offseason Thread - Hackett to Denver
What he's saying is Rodgers can't be officially traded until the start of the new league year so if that's the route this goes then his cap number will hit at 42 mil when the league year starts. And they would need to be 20ish mil under when the new league year starts (including that 42 mil to Rodgers) to tag Adams. Lots of guys would need to be cut to get to that number, now once the trades actually happened the pack would instantly have about 40 mil in cap space (this includes 20 mil in dead Rodgers money).DrWood wrote:jakecronus8 wrote:WeekapaugGroove wrote:Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think trading Rodgers first would drop his cap hit by about 20 mil making it much easier to get to a point where they can tag Adams.

It's much easier to tag Adams if Rodgers wants to stay because if he stays he'll sign an extension that will reduce his cap number. But if he stays they probably just sign Adams to a long term deal anyway.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Adams alone isn't worth two first round picks given his contract status. There is no way that i can see Devante agreeing to go to any new team without getting a long term contract and he'll likely demand to be the highest paid WR in the game. Expecting multiple high picks like that for the right to pay Adams 28-30 million per isn't going to happen.

I think Green Bay would get more with two seperate Rodgers and Adams deals.

Adams wants $30 million...yuck
Can't be spending a third of the cap on 2 offensive players when it's clearly not enough to get it done

I would be surprised if we got more than two firsts for Rodgers. He might retire the next year, and the Broncos aren't one piece away. Stafford is younger, and the Rams were far closer to contention when that trade was made, and they're a lot more "all in" than the Broncos.
I don't think we get much for Adams. Suitors lining up for the privilege to pay a WR $30M annually won't be plentiful.
