And honestly, if we’re down 1-2 points I’m almost to the point now where depending on the matchup I give bam the ball in the post or top of the key and tell him to score and just live with the result. 90% of the time his defender will be either too small or too slow to check him in one or the other
At this point I'd want Spo to draw up a play to get Bam open for a shot. The opposing defense is always super lasered in on Butler, Herro and Robinson because they know that's where the ball is going. I think either a dribble hand-off fake, or a pick and pop with Lowry / Butler will leave Bam wide open for a jay.
Pop did it with Duncan against the Suns in the playoffs with the game on the line.

I think it's time for Spo to get creative in game winning situations, as opposed to having Butler / Herro dribble out the clock and shoot a contested fade-away all the time..
