Bud is Thibs-light.
He's just as stubborn.

To UTA for Ingles + whatever scrub and a 2nd.
IQ McBride
Grimes Fournier
RJ Cam
Randle Obi
Mitch Noel Taj

Losing Ingles is a big blow for Jazz. He's a runner up for 6th Man of Year last season, they'd scramble to trade for a player to replace his toughness, selflessness, passing, 3 pt shooting, being a good locker room guy and teammate... Randle?

Denver and Utah really need him, but can’t offer anything.
If we can get anyone from the Spurs for Randle, it’s a win. They don’t really need him though, do they?
Boston should want him, but we’d only want Robert Williams and I’m sure he’s untouchable. Would they accept Mitch too?
Chicago can use him and force him off the ball. We should probably like Patrick Williams in return. They could send along Coby White or Airplane Mode. That’s interesting, but Williams probably won’t ever be as good as Randle.
Philly could use him and send Danny Green and one of Thybulle or Korkmaz. That’s not great value for us.
The Clippers could plan ahead and add Randle to Kawhi and PG. We’d get Bledsoe and would likely ask for Mann. That’s not a good deal for us as Mann is solid but isn’t going to be a star guard.
The Lakers could use him, but Westbrook is still much better than Randle and they couldn’t offer anything else.
I wouldn’t say Randle would be an upgrade over Crowder for Phoenix. That’s odd. And also wrong I guess. Phoenix can’t offer anything interesting in return though.
Portland intrigues me. Simons and Nance plus one more player for Randle. We should call them. They’d never do that at the deadline though.
Minnesota have plenty of expiring or intriguing contracts to offer, but they can’t offer any remarkable talent in return.
Milwaukee have nothing to offer.
We could literally send Randle and Fournier to Dallas for THJ, whose salary is declining, and Powell, who only has another year left. That’s a massive salary dump of very roughly 15 million. I could see Dallas doing it lol, for us it’d merely be an embarrassment.
I can’t see why Charlotte wouldn’t want Randle. Would we want Terry? That’s not good value for Randle imo.
Memphis could send Adams and Tyus Jones. That’s not a deal the Knicks should make.

1. Kings are trying to finally have a winning team. Please explain where Randle, who had one of the worst playoff performances and historically has been on really bad team and has no experience with winning. Especially with how unclutch Randle is, Kings can draft or sign soeone who would be a munch better fit than being stuck with RANDLE and let their youth go through what we go through.
lmao can you imagine DeAaron Fox trying to play with Randle and Randle doesn't run the floor, so Fox will be subjected to half court slow pace, high turnover offense. Massive yikes. Theres no logical explanation to why Kings would take on Randle.
2. Randle's value is overrated. It will always be a negative contract based on:
a. Randle is handicapped on defense, so taking on Randle means you need to design your team to have personnel to fill his weaknesses
b. Randle in the 4th quarter, he's trash in all quarters, but 4th quarter Randle is the worst player in crunch time.
c. Randle has a cancerous attitude, always looks sad, worried, doubtful, depressed, entitled.
d. Randle is just Mo Taylor with more ballhandling responsibility, but same exact passing skills. Let's stop posting "But Randle averages 18/9/5". Randle averages 3.5 turnovers with those 5 apg. His passing and domination of the ball(not a good way, slow pace, takes too long to get his offense going) doesn't help our offense, it negates it. Theres guys who average less assist than Randle, but are actually good passers because they make passes Randle can never make and that limits us. This is proof Randle plays for stats and if we had a good coach, Randle would never have this much ball handling responsibility. He's not Jokic, Diaw, Divac. He's hardly Turiaf tbh who made some educated passes with the Knicks. Randle 5 apg probably the most empty stat in the NBA today. Him playing high minutes and Thibs trusting him to mess up doesn't mean Randle is a good passer. Stop posting this statline as if Randle is a unicorn and we need to keep him because of it. Teams see through this and this is why most teams stay ahead of the Knicks.
e. Randle has 4 years + a player option. One of the longest contracts in the NBA for one of the most negative value players. Trading Randle would require atleast Quickley or a pick in the trade. No teams are in a hurry to kill their cap flexiblity for a player like Randle.
We need to stop trying to convince ourselves lies to make ourselves feel better and accept reality. Randle is a huge liability not only our roster, but also our reputation as a league. Do we repeat ourselves being the same old Knicks or do we finally level up as a front office, own our mistake and correct it? Probably the first, so the Randlesexauls will be happy seeing Knicks win 25-30 season the next 4 season as long as they keep their boy.
It's disgraceful Randle wears #30 when we had two legends don the number.
