A ribbing comment from a fan doesn't or at least shouldn't phase anyone but constant continual crap would get me boiling.
The way I see it think back when you're a kid. You've either had this friend or been this friend. A soft punch on the shoulder from a mate means nothing. But when that mate keeps giving repeated soft punches to the same spot just waiting for a reaction and then finally gets one.
Fan got what he wanted in the end. Unless he gets banned of course.
Oh so let’s let this play out the way the coach wanted.
Think best case scenario-
*coach goes into the stands and beats the guy down...KO in one punch...
*it leads sports center... “Ja blocked a shot into the parking lot but we have to start off with the play of the day...the wiz Coach Knocking out the drunk fan and the wiz get the win because the players were so excited that they came back from 30 with 2 minutes to play- really why don’t more coaches do this!”
*The coach gets a raise and is now going to take Steve Kerr’s job in Golden State right after the allstar game
*They name coach of the year award after him
Worse case scenario-
*the coach makes it to the fan
*the coach and fan fight
*the coach and fan hurt a bunch of innocent people
*more people Start fighting because a chair gets thrown
*someone dies in the melee
*coach goes to jail for STARTING the fight
*coach loses job and gets blackballed from the NBA for life
*wiz still lose
*Fan kinda right about the suspect coaching and play of the wizards losing 8 of 9 games
If the wiz don’t fire this guy they will be setting a very dangerous precedent.....
The NBA isn’t a combat sport where fans are there FOR the violence
