Nurk would be beautiful. Him or Holmes.

How do we think Richaun Holmes would fit here?

Seems like 1 of him or Barnes are that much more likely to get dealt post-Sabonis.

Bagley appears to be on the outs as well either way.

Yea I looked at that too. He'd be a one year fill in/insurance on Brook but without the shooting. But you might need him for Embiid. I struggled to find the contracts to match for it without including Brook (which Por would have no interest) and maybe a way with Hill but then you need a PG and you're just shifting the hole on the team.

Would Holmes for DDV, Nwora, and the Filler Twins work?

Nah, you had it right the first time. Sabonis is the biggest empty stats guy in the League.

Haliburton might be the easiest young player to build around. He fits with any type of player, on ball or off, and can defend 1-3.
That's very disrespectful to Christian Wood.

Wood makes his team better. Heck, the Pistons outscored their opponent when Wood was on the floor. You know how hard that is with those scrubs?

Why bother? Holmes wouldn't see the floor in the playoffs.

It's about money and role. Sabonis does some things really well, but as your 2nd best guy and almost $20 mil? Yikes. Oh, and I agree Haliburton is already better.

DDV + Hood + Semi + Nwora works salary wise. POR could flip DDV to SAC for something if they wanted. Then we sign Bledsoe if/when he's bought out.

Starting the week with Haliburton and ending it with Nwora would be pretty damn funny!

I'd be hyped if we got Nurkic. Thursday, Bucks trade for Nurkic and accounce that Brook will be back in late March. That would be a massive gut punch to the rest of the east.

Does DDV + Nwora get a SAC lotto protected 1st to Portland?

Eh, Nurkic is a bruiser, so that could be important. But he's really not a guy that moves the needle at all.

Sabonis at $20mil is actually a great number in today's NBA. Sabonis at $40mil after his next contract is when things get super sketchy.

I guess I'm going to have to let the cat out of the bag here: Giannis is going to play a ton of center in the playoffs.

I wouldn't even allow Bledsoe to sit on our sideline during the playoffs.

What do you all make of the Schroder rumors? MIL wants Dennis/Grant Williams, BOS wants a 1:1 swap, or MIL might want to swap George Hill..

Brook coming back strong would be a bigger addition than anyone we seem likely to get.
