Nurkic is expiring, Bagleys pretty trash and NAW isn't good either.
Now that Turner isn't going to dealt, I really don't see a move out there that makes sense for us. I'm not interested in dealing future assets for expiring contracts or vets who JUST help us out right now. The truth is that as of right now, we aren't good enough to win a chip and we don't have much time between now and having to pay FVV and Trent, assuming that they actually want to continue to play here. It make little sense to invest meaningful assets in a team that is likely to undergo significant change before we are ready to compete.
Since we are unlikely to trade 2 young Allstars, my advice would be if you're trading a pick, it should be for a young piece who can be part of the future. If we have to take on future salary, let it be for a player who can contribute now.
Guys like Nurkic, Bagley, Bogdanovic etc don't make sense.
