Yeah, if his mind is made up, then Sixer and Morey have leverage here. They can just get him in summer and probably gain assets in the process of dumping Simmons for cap space.

Only risk for Morey is upsetting Harden that he didn’t try harder at deadline and is forced to spend the last part of the year in Brooklyn.

Also, can we just say what a god awful team leader KD is? Every team he “leads” (aka, not GS) is full of unhappy 2nd/3rd stars.

They should have done with Harris what Blazers did with CJ. I think it's too late for that now. It's going to be an insane cost to dump him in the summer, that it will just make more sense to do a sign in trade with Nets.

Jalen Rosen made a good point yesterday. Nets probably don't want to trade for Simmons in February. He didn't play in almost a year, who knows in what physical/mental state he is.

Leaving a team in Free Agency is not quitting. Not at all.

He played the vast majority of the season with either KD or Kyrie so stop making **** up. KD has been playing most of the season at an MVP level.

And since KD got injured nearly all of the games have been on the road. Meaning he had Kyrie. Harden has barely had to play any games by himself.

Sean Marks is not going to have a long gM career. He was disloyal to the players and coaches before the superteam assembly, and now he is playing hardball with a Superstar not allowing him to be traded after leveraging himself to that organization. Sean Marks is his own worst enemy and the reason why Brooklyn may not have high quality free agency and trade deadline periods moving forward if he doesn't trade Harden to the Sixers before the trade deadline.
