Looks like a 6'7 Deandre Bembry. He should stay 1 more year. If not, I'd be cool giving him a camp invite.

Raps dont draft based on what you are, they draft on what they think they can transform you into, especially in 2nd round.
lets keep that in mind.

Jabari isn't the best player on his team
Chet isn't the best on his team
Pablo isnt the best on his team
Ivey isn't the best on his team
There's no one who is that guy. It's a bad draft.

You forget that our young stud didn’t even start on his college team. I think it’s an average talent draft without a clear cut top guy.

I think this is a deep draft. Someone like Duren would be a top 5 pick in a regular draft.

What year would you consider to be a regular draft. I think that's the question, was last year a good draft or a regular draft in your opinion?

Last year was an abnormal draft. One of the deepest in years, especially high end potential prospects.
This year isn't as deep at the top but it's pretty deep in terms of quality role players.

Dalek wrote:In the 30s, the guy I really fits Toronto is Terrence Shannon Jr. I wanted him last year but he pulled out of the draft late. He is a strong athletic wing at about 6'6 and he is a smart defender - pretty high up in the Big 12 BPM. He just looks like a big NBA wing. Not sure what his back issue is exactly so he isn't playing now, but I think he will be back soon. I think he hurt himself dunking too hard.
Some things I like:
Weakside rotation - great timing:
Attacks close out with nice drive and pull-up from mid range:
He is going to need to improve the outside shooting, but this would be nothing new for Toronto.

That's a good option. Athletic SG who is a great defender. High IQ cutter. He's 21 years old, going to be 22. His wingspan is not that long and he's a decent shooter. Would you pick him over a Dyson Daniels who is over 3 years younger, also a good defender and potentially a better shooter. Not as athletic though. Shannon Jr. is still a good option.
