Come at me Woj!
Me too-
Harden- forced him self out of 2 teams and played like crap to do so and let down 2 fan bases and organizations down while making max money and fighting for even more money.
Simmons refused to play while on a max contract and made up a possibly fabricated excuse while refusing to talk to the 76ers medical staff and let down a fan base and ownership team by essentially dashing their championship aspirations while demanding and getting a trade.
Kyrie refused to get vaccinated (his right and choice) but the Nets couldn’t void his contract get any type of compensation for Kyrie basically calling out for half the year- his right but it again let down a fan base and ownership team while he was making max money
John Wall has not played this year and is the 3 highest paid player in NBA...initially it was so that they could trade him but then they changed their mind and wanted him to come off the bench and he declined and wall is making max money and while I’m not sure he is letting a fan base down. Wall is a healthy scratch while the rockets fans watch their team that once had Harden CP3 fight for a ring watch the equivalent of G-League Ignite running against NBA teams...
Westbrook demanded a trade in DC so he could join the Lakers and ruined Lebron and the Lakers fan base aspirations while making max money and laying bricks and mean mugging and arguing with fans
Dame decided that they can’t win this year so he isn’t hurrying back. I’m sorry but did Portland decide to concede the rest of the year and the season ticket holders get their money back? Dame either healthy or he isn’t- all the Portland nationally televised games are now canceled and people can get their ad money back?
All of these guys are max players and thus should be cornerstones to franchises or at least winning pieces yet they are not holding up their end of the per verbal bargain while getting paid....
don’t Tell me about Kyrie and Simmons because it’s not like the 76ers or Nets could use the money they not making to hire a guy to play in their absence
And this doesn’t even begin to approach the super team colluding that friends are doing...
If the owners don’t renegotiate the NBA product is going to become less valuable over time as the general fan stops watching teams that are tanking or have stars that we can’t root for because they don’t even care about playing on a regular basis...so why should I care to buy their product?
