Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Double-double in tight win
Bonga tallied 11 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 16 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 100-98 victory against the Greensboro Swarm.

Bonga was a monster on the glass Wednesday -- grabbing eight offensive rebounds in addition to his eight defensive rebounds -- and his double double was vital in his side's narrow win over the Swarm. He's averaging 9.9 rebounds per game for 905 during the regular season

I know many of us liked Gary Payton II when we signed him from the G-League couple years ago.

Great to listen to his pops.

I sure did -- & I did not understand why we failed to keep him. GPII is an absolutely terrific player. A lock-down defender who routinely gets way more steals than turnovers & rebounds extremely well.

Irony: Earlier today I posted my preference of 21-year old grown men, Keegan Murray and Tari Eason, over younger picks who are 19 and possibly, still 18 years of age. My rationale included drinking age and maturity.

Kwame a drunk, per Gilbert...interesting.

I didn't know that about Kwame either.

Kind of seems like Gil is trying to get Kwame riled up again. Selfishly, I'm ready for more angry grown man Kwame videos.

Eh, I don't think age has anything to do with it, it's all about personality.

Kwame had demons that he never faced up to and he kept failing everywhere he went because he never had the sense to reflect and to realize that he was standing in his own way.

Being an NBA player is high stress. Being the number 1 overall squares that. Having MJ as your boss
doesn't make it easier. I don't feel sorry for him though. If he had made better choices, things
probably could have work out better. I do wonder how hard the wizards tried to support him.
(They) Could have done better I would think. Could have also done better with diligence in making
the pick. Gasol or Battier....(sigh) Or even Chandler. Ancient history.

Here I am talking about famous people making poor choices after watching a vid of Agent Zero.

It's fascinating how Arenas uses total salary earned as a metric for how good a player is. And he has memorized the total salary earned by so many players.

Not 'again', still. He's been pecking at him on IG ever since Kwame took a crack at him. Not a smart plan by Kwame. There's a reason his IG handle is No Chill Gil. Nick Young, Javaris, everybody knows Gilbert only escalates the level of the shenanigans and will never ever stop once you get him started.

I met Kwame. Pete Newell had a basketball camp which was held in Hawaii some 20 years ago.Kwame Brown respectfully listened and attentively watched with eye contact as I spoke supportively to him…

(Unlike Etan Thomas, Brendan Haywood, and above all Obinna Ekezie—a couple came off as jerks IMO).

Norman Vincent Peale—The Power of Positive Thinking

I don’t give a damn what anybody says I like Kwame.

At the same time people were talking a lot of **** about Zach Randolph. He was also extremely nice. He became an all-star just as I told him he would someday be.

All this stuff about Kwame getting in his own way; all I gotta say is he played a lot of years and made a lot of money in the NBA. Others cannot say that.

This was legitimately a cool story. Interesting about those other guys coming off as jerks, especially a scrub like Ekezie.

I mostly like Kwame too. He was just an overly sensitive dude. Not really made for pro basketball, I think, despite his physical gifts. Or really any profession that required that ability to channel full on aggression. Probably should have been an art teacher or something.

Gil was a maniac and naturally just so good. Probably the most gifted player to play for this stupid franchise in decades. Damn Gerald Wallace.
