Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Double-double in tight win
Bonga tallied 11 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 16 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 100-98 victory against the Greensboro Swarm.

Bonga was a monster on the glass Wednesday -- grabbing eight offensive rebounds in addition to his eight defensive rebounds -- and his double double was vital in his side's narrow win over the Swarm. He's averaging 9.9 rebounds per game for 905 during the regular season

I sure did -- & I did not understand why we failed to keep him. GPII is an absolutely terrific player. A lock-down defender who routinely gets way more steals than turnovers & rebounds extremely well.

Being an NBA player is high stress. Being the number 1 overall squares that. Having MJ as your boss
doesn't make it easier. I don't feel sorry for him though. If he had made better choices, things
probably could have work out better. I do wonder how hard the wizards tried to support him.

Not 'again', still. He's been pecking at him on IG ever since Kwame took a crack at him. Not a smart plan by Kwame. There's a reason his IG handle is No Chill Gil. Nick Young, Javaris, everybody knows Gilbert only escalates the level of the shenanigans and will never ever stop once you get him started.

I met Kwame. Pete Newell had a basketball camp which was held in Hawaii some 20 years ago.Kwame Brown respectfully listened and attentively watched with eye contact as I spoke supportively to him…

(Unlike Etan Thomas, Brendan Haywood, and above all Obinna Ekezie—a couple came off as jerks IMO).

This was legitimately a cool story. Interesting about those other guys coming off as jerks, especially a scrub like Ekezie.

I mostly like Kwame too. He was just an overly sensitive dude. Not really made for pro basketball, I think, despite his physical gifts. Or really any profession that required that ability to channel full on aggression. Probably should have been an art teacher or something.

Gil was a maniac and naturally just so good. Probably the most gifted player to play for this stupid franchise in decades. Damn Gerald Wallace.
